The suite lounge is right near a major bar which can usually make anything. Mud slide, or coffee martini .. once I wanted a riesling wine they didnt have there, but the Mdr had. So once I couldnt get something there.

Find a TA with group rates. On group rates, I am getting my balcony discount, however, if I take the balcony rate it's not combinable with the $50 obc early booking. One or the other. I'm getting very good group rates from my TA. Love it.

Lol well if they were pinnacle for sure experts. I've booked more than normal and I only took 1 fcc. Long since gone. I think sitting home during covid people want to get out more. .. though I'm not a pinnacle so just a opinion. I'm hoping to move to florida closer to a port where it's easier to jump on cruises.

Carnival jubilee and ncl prima out of Galveston are worse than rcl. I think they both have lost their minds. I'm not paying those prices. And people whining about rcl excursion prices, holy moly batman. I looked at my 14 day carnival dream, aruba curacao, columbia, costa rica and panama and excursions look double what rcl charges and no sales. I'm waiting for them to price more sensibly. Rcl is still cheaper for me than carnival. I'm suddenly loyal to royal and not because I dont want to try the others. Maybe 2024 I'll go on cruise strike after dream.

I must have terrible prices for this dec, allure as harmony was cheaper next dec for the same dates. Harmony for boardwalk like $70 more vs $150 more. Either I paid too much for allure or 2023 prices are good. I'm booked dec 2022 b2b and 2023 b2b2b .. if I keep all 3. Also allure was the first oasis class in Galveston so it might have run more just because people were so excited to see a new big ship.

Idk what category is 1k more .. around sept and oct, the week that is less varys every week, 2023, allure to me is a bargain. Lots less than I'm paying for my dec allure b2b. Vardy a lot by date. I already got allure b2b but sept 2023 is really inexpensive to me. Get a ta with group prices. I saw john and them booked like 14 holiday cabins for a ov for a excellent price. Sold out before they posted lol. There are bargains.

The cruiseline has a amount or estimate or they couldnt charge you taxes and port fees. The port fees would be the same for all ports you book if there wasnt some estimate they had of port fees. Carnival always gives me some obc back for missed ports ... and carnival other lines, princess etc. Its just rcl who chooses not to return any obc for missed ports if they dont want to. Hit or miss, no policy. I think if they collect port fees for each port, they can pick a amt to give as obc if a port is missed. Surely they are as smart as carnival?

Imo the food on jewel should be lower level and less varied than wonder. I haven't ordered that apple blossom dessert in ages, it's all crust and a spoon of apple if you dig. Never been anything but too much crust imo. Really hope the food on oasis class is more varied and better than jewel! Better be. I'm on allure sunday and if it's not more varied I'll be vastly disappointed. I've been looking forward to more food choices and better food.

Liberty missed their amp and imo looks tired. The tv at the pool has been broken since before covid and apparently the satalittle for tv reception is pointed wrong as cabin TV rarely got the news. I was glad to see her leave Galveston. I know a lot of people love her. I just thought she needed attention. Every time there were elevators shaking or out of order. Etc. I too was a little bored on grandeur food choice wise. 2 not great ship choices imo ...good ports have older ships. It's always a trade off. Look at my signature, I love oasis class, but radiance is 10 days to go see Panama and Columbia and carnival dream 14 days also had 5 unusual ports. It's how it is, newer oasis class but boring same ole ports, or older ships to see better ports.

I was already aware wipe out cafe menu changed to fresh. To me that's a huge plus. I hated wipe out cafe food. We have been wondering why they dont change the name. Sorry to hear the roast beef sandwiches in the cafe are no longer being made to order with the juice over them.

Here in the USA royal does NOT have that policy. I was on liberty and we tried to dock but the 6 ft waves were too high to dock. We got back $0 in port fees. I wrote to mbayley office and received a email they have no company policy to refund port fees for missed ports. They dont charge extra if they go up, nor down. On the ship you may get port fees back, it's up to the ship. My ship said weather related, no obc. I still have the letter. So the policy is fluid here, whatever the ship decides.

Half priced drinks seems to have cheered people up a lot.

Your cabin mate doesnt have to check in with you. Everyone has their own account.

Not exactly but you cant dispute until the current billing cycle has closed. Ie. If your billing closes the 10th of each month, then after that you can dispute. Then it's actually charged. I worked disputes for amex... I would take screen shots and contact, mbayley@rccl.com to get it fixed. They are quick to respond.

Allure is boarding a hour late tomorrow. Things are still a little slow.

But there is something to be said for allowing all sides to be heard and allowed to voice their opinion without attacking or judging them. I'm for open minded discussion. Even for the ones not pleased. Let them be heard too. Tough times for many. I cruise for the convenience. I still remember how carnival treated me when hurricane IKE hit Galveston and I was travelling with 2 HC folks which caused a lot of extra grief and carnival was terrible. Havent trusted them since .. rcl at least is trying.

I got sound in my PR cabin and had to turn off the speakers for announcements. The button to turn off the low sound coming is is next to the plug ins over the desk. ..turn off the announcements and the piped in sound all the time goes away. Worked for me.

Wow I agree, that's huge. Thanksgiving isnt that much more expensive. If they got $400, then anything else this cruise I agree is gravy.

How much $$$ was offered. .. I agree with you about the cost of a extra night of hotel for those who should be boarding tomorrow but also $250 probably wouldnt pay my refaring on a nonrefundable american fare. I just want to know about coco cay .... if you have no idea .. then why post it ?
