There is a button you can push to ask to eat with others. Dinner I didnt have much luck but found if I arrived for brunch a group of us all were pushing that button to eat with others. For dinner for it to work you would need anytime dining and many couples during covid want to sit alone. Anytime dining on their app is another thing imo carnival does better than anyone else. I like that I can have a choice. If you are on dream jan 13 2024. .. lol come join me.

There is no way to get any discount for diamond before you cruise..once you board prices are higher so even a discount doesnt really help. I do games so always get the higher pkg which bought for one day onboard lately has been 32.99. So now I wait for the end of the cruise pricing. I don't buy for the whole cruise. Lol everyone was critical when I said wifi is why I want pinnacle some day.

Is it the same as surf n turf in steak house. I'm never sure if I get a lesser lobster with surf n turf in steak house. Imo pay restaurants are a great value on carnival ... at least to me vs rcl prices. I've always ordered the surf n turf. Now that isnt available on rcl. Lobster is a $26 up charge or something ridiculous. I dont care if it's 1.5 lbs .. that's too big anyway, and doesn't come with steak. Yes lobster in rcl steak house is a up charge...above what you pay to eat there. I finally reached BOGO on rcl but cant do izumi, not included in BOGO perk and now cant order surf n turf except on carnival. I really enjoyed doing pay restaurants on vista. Such a bargain. Still looking for a bargain out of Galveston that fits into my already booked but 2023 and 2024 pretty wide open. 2024 just the 14 day carnival dream. No place better to do pay restaurants than carnival. Such a bargain.

Yes I think kts in response to govt pushing to allow refunds if you buy a nonrefundable ticket, and now you click to agree its nonrefundable. I'm booked next march 11, spring break. My main cabin was purchased nonrefundable but I choose my seats. Lol now a category below mine that also boards last on American. Brand new.

Doesnt hurt to call the number on the back of your card. I had to call and ok the online purchase to make my American airlines purchase go thru. They seem to suspect any online payment.

Only found it one time but chinese duck. I got a lot of favorites. The corn cupcakes with corn inside. ..couldnt find them after first time but then found them one more time in another section. Liberty was cheaper last weekend then it is on this sale. I got rates starting $236 pp sept 18 or sept 25 with a texas discount. This sale start 269 and 279 pp. I'd book if I wasnt already booked and cant be away 3 weeks. .. just too long.

I docked downtown one time. I think the carnival pier was full. I had booked a excursion which then I had to cab back to where we were supposed to have docked. ..though downtown was a nice change. Rarely happens. Once in about 20 years.

You get to decide what YOU like not what I like. It still is my favorite perk. Not much of a drinker. But I like having wifi. .. yes even bad in and out wifi is better than none. No wifi is what i didnt like about cruising. Hard to justify just because I dont like the feeling of being cut off. . .especially when the tv news didnt work the whole week. Some look forward to the feeling of being disconnected, I dont.

Free gratuities by a mile. I used to think 2 category upgrade and how I would move to a whole new type of cabin, inside to ov, ov to balcony. ..then I found out what they think is a free upgrade. ..not worth but maybe $50 at most .. if it's to a cabin you wanted. Mostly not a help.

I thought it was more like rcl hates carnival and acts all superior and looks down their nose, and carnival says rcl is no fun and hates back. All sorts of people think they are superior. Not just pinnacle jealousy.

I saw my ta post he has some on hold for this very reason. There might be a way TAs can hold a cabin for longer.. see what the announcement by august 14 says. I would not put down non refundable money until I was sure. .. or book with a TA a refundable group price. Book refundable .. can be changed later. I see someone who read that blog and thought it said unvaxxed can cruise and booked Panama canal and long cruises ... those might never be lifted.

I'm not near pinnacle, but I personally would like the free wifi. I dont like to pay for it, free is nice. Nothing else I care about, just the wifi all cruise long. Not worth pushing for .. when I get there, if ever, I do.

You say you are very familiar ...then say if rcl sends the charge to collections. Never would that happen over a dispute. If the credit stays on your account either it was a small charge and amex wrote it off or charged the merchant back. There have been times I said when we charged the merchant back and they sent the charge to collections. Often small charges under say $100 we write off. Not worth the time it takes to send out dispute letters. Our time is worth a certain amount. Each cardholder has a $$$ value. If they charge a lot a bigger charge might be written off for a situation where they were unhappy. And merchant disagreed. Never would amex send a charge to collections that was disputed. There are also laws how long amex has to handle a dispute. There have been times when larger write offs were written because we approached the deadline. 90 days. .. your 120 days is for something that is charged in the future. Like a wedding or a cruise has a longer time to dispute. Furniture that has to be made and delivery is later. Most disputes by law only have 90 days. There is a major fine for not closing on time. I am not aware of any flat 120 day like you said. .. depends on delivery in some rare kinds of disputes. But ok. I'm not the one answering phones, I was the one you mentioned using the software. The one closing disputes. Doesnt matter. Correcting someone who just said they did that job kinda typical of cc. Everyone knows everything. I've been pulling away more and more lately.

Grandeur in may still had some small bottles, but not that brand you showed. My steward said just ask if I wanted any more replaced. I think it's at 340 pts we are supposed to get upgraded shower amenities. If you were in a JS or above those on the wall are the replacement they were told. Idk how they can get rid of the personal sizes if they are listed as a loyalty perk. You might have a balcony which doesnt have the upgraded toiletries on the wall. Either rcl has to remove it as a perk or there will be individual bottles. Maybe your room steward doesnt realize it's a rcl loyalty perk or only does suites? Amenity perk bottles on grandeur.

Liberty pulled that on me exactly. Wanted to see my app which I didnt bring though I had reserved the show. They did finally let me in. They dont seem to get a read out on these lower class ships like on oas8ks class so without seeing your app they dont know they said. Idk .. but i ran into this once too. I'll be back on liberty in sept.
