Actually I can always get a extra 12 plus hours out of my 2 days. I go online at midnight on thursday and get from Thursday thru when I depart the ship on Sunday. There is actually a place to click to get the rest of the cruise .. and it has been $2 less than what the 2 day rate would be. Thursday Friday and saturday all night until early sunday is more than 48 hours. Worked every time so far. .. this is what I have been doing to get extra free time.

I've seen families sit out there with their kids and dad goes and picks up the snacks and the bar tender takes orders both places. Does it make such a difference for her to sit inside. Technically no. I cruised with a diamond friend and I was not allowed in. It's up to the diamond ambassador and how crowded it is. Just free coffee and pastries and snacks at 5 pm. He can easily go in and bring the stuff out to her if they say no. Her card wouldnt work to get in but they might make exceptions with a tip.

Everything I've seen was $13 lol. Daiquiri $13, margarita $13, long island iced tea $13, italian iced tea $13. I havent found a drink they didnt say was $13, except some wine.

If you are booked look in the app and it will show drink prices. Most drinks seem to be $13.

Have you cruised royal since the restart? This has changed and now diamond get 4 drinks any time of the day any place. Not particularly during happy hour. Happy hour still has free snacks but you use a voucher for any drinks they arent free during happy hour. Seems you havent cruised rcl in a while. I love the drink vouchers and use them for my morning fresh squeezed OJ.

I just read a carnival review and it didnt make me want to run out and book carnival. Cut backs. Buffet was very short. And they complained it was too hot on the ships, especially elevators. Kids were ok but some unruly adults. 1 to 2 hour lines for pizza after 11 pm, nothing else open. ..well I like carnival pizza so I'd wait over rcl pizza. .. I've done 3 carnival since restart and giving them a rest because of food cut backs. I'm hoping by jan 2024 carnival food is improved. Meanwhile I'm doing rcl.

You get 5 drink vouchers free per day with D+. I havent seen a discount on the drink pkg. Just wine. It was the same price onboard for me, first day was buy one, 2nd half off. ..so no biggie price.

My BOGO said excludes izumi and chefs table. Dont know if on some other ships playmakers and similar ala carte excluded.

Most say dont say anything. They automatically refund port fees and taxes. Dont even tell them or risk being refared. My pvp told me just say nothing. I guess by the time you told them they knew as they turned in the manifest before they left port. No harm once underway, but they already knew. Too late to refare you, just did nothing since they already know who boarded.

That's the only dining times I could book even onboard on the app. You can go to a dining person and ask for a set time and table or wait every night in line to be worked in. I did the 730 one night and missed the 8 pm show and got rid of any time dining until it's easier to make a earlier time.

I liked miracle I took to alaska. Spirit class has the most space per pax in the fleet, less crowded. Took me a while to warm up to vista with its closed promenade where I cant see the ocean like older builds.

I haven't been on splendor but many others and never thought ge how tacky. Frankly I'm tired of the green decor on rcl. I like all the bright colors on carnival and never once said how tacky. It's a vacation. Unrelenting drab olive green on rcl looks dated to me. Vista has a brewery onboard since you say you like beer. Only a few ships have a brewery but might be worth looking into. I like the fast food lunches on carnival better and their pizza is made from scratch unlike rcl. They the white pizza. It's my favorite. Cookies and dinner better on rcl. Each has things they do better. The decor never mattered to me lol.

I honestly dont want the paper compass. I use the online version in the app. Is the reason they keep giving it to me even though I ask them not to because I'm over 65? I've wondered. I just throw it away. Everything I want to see is in the app. Ive cruised enough I got the app down pat. .. I'll try again next time to get them to stop, but havent had much luck. I assume they do it for a extra tip and think I want the extra service.

Actually in many of the better restaurants it is divided. I worked in one and the practice is common. A portion of drinks ordered I was forced to tip the bar, even if the patron didnt tip me. And I also had to tip or give a percentage of the tab to the bus boys. Just because your waiter in a restaurant doesnt tell you doesn't mean he keeps the whole tip.

I've never heard of any events because of what credit card you hold. I've been following it and know it will mostly br about pinnacles. The rest of us might or might not get invited. I see above in 2019 there was such a event. How about last month? I'm just amazed it could matter. Yes I've had a rcl card, never heard before now it mattered. And I'm on the roll call and it's not mentioned ... news to me.

Your principles are weak at best to harm workers when it wasnt them. It's like punching your sister because your brother was mean to you... pick on the weakest. Or maybe you are just cheap and making excuses idk ... but saying you just wouldnt tip because you are mad at a corporation so you hurt the crew ... inexcusable to me. Tip or dont, but dont harm a 3rd party because they didnt do it.

Ncl and celebrity add in effect gratuities for 2 per cabin. It's why I would avoid them mostly except for last minute when the drop the extras. It's not fair to solos to add gratuities to fares when we already pay double.

When I saw it at the pool, probably on ecstasy. The horses were on a board and wore different colors and dice were rolled how many spaces the horses could move. People werent wearing the horses. It was a poolside game and lots of loud cheering even if you didnt bet.

I was just thinking of the horse racing and thought no one but me would remember it.

Yes his office replies fairly promptly every time I've written. Even back early on I know exceptions were made to adults who werent vaccinated as I meet one early days back when we still wore bracelets to show we were vaccinated. I don't know if you even tried to cruise and get a exemption. You might mention any efforts you made before it expired.

You can see in my signature I'm on the dream journey cruise jan 2024. Panama costa Rica Columbia aruba and curacao..and I think jamaica .. lol missing the B of the ABC islands. Looking forward to the ports. I'm on radiance next jan also to 2 of these ports Panama and Columbia. Wish i could do the b2b radiance with the 9 day to coco cay but got oasis next march. All the best cruises seem on top of each other. ..but i sure would like that st kitts eastern on dream ,,,maybe squeeze it in the oct one. .. I'm surprised the ship was out of magnets with the name of the ship. I've bought those magnets for liberty and grandeur since restart. ..the only 2 ships so far I've been on. Btw on carnival I've done vista and breeze since restart and the fish place is also a paid not free place. If you have done carnival why surprised rcl isnt free if carnival charges.
