Well, somebody sure goofed somewhere. Either Celebrity fed the MoveUp people some bad information or they went rogue. But either way it’s another communication screw up🤪
Yes you can bring these drinks with you to dinner.
I have never seen a tip jar anywhere on any celebrity cruise. Generally if you wish to give a tip for these complimentary drinks, you give it in cash directly to the server.
Most here will tell you that it’s probably not the best travel card but if you plan to cruise on celebrity a lot and then perhaps it is a good one for you. You can redeem the points for onboard credit or for a reduction in the price of the cruise.
That isn’t really how it works. You can ask for an exception for that one night, or just plan to eat in the buffet, which is probably the preferred solution.
As I recall it never was one per passenger, it was two per state room, with the assumption that the state room was a double occupancy. Under those old rules, a single person occupying the stateroom alone could bring two bottles. I wonder how it will be worded in the future
Glad this worked out for you and you got lucky, but you should know for future celebrity cruises that they do not allow you to bring alcohol other than wine onto the ship. If found, they will confiscate it
