You can simply go to the veuve one evening and make a reservation for later in the week. Surprised that it is full in advance. Please note, occasionally the venue is reserved for a special group. I know for the Wonder Jan 21, 2024, cruise it is NOT OPEN at all for the general public. The following week is available in the planner. Allure Solarium Bistro becomes a paid Brazilian steakhouse in the evenings. The other O class have a complimentary dinner. M

That was very nice, I hope you enjoyed it and realized that you had some sort of special permission and your experience is not what others can expect. I probably wouldn’t talk about exceptions to the rule, too much on a public website. Others who are not supposed to have access, will expect special permission as well. m

I like chick fil a better but shack is very good. Lots order the not secret at all “secret sandwich” which is a fried chicken filet, fried cheese sticks and red sauce. Every one knows about it but folks get a kick when ordering something they think is special or some sort of secret 😀. It isn’t listed on the menu board. m

Make a celebration special, go someplace else besides the Caribbean. Alaska is lovely. A Mediterranean cruise is a great way to get a taste several cities/countries. M

You are not required to buy a bottle of wine. You are not required to use one of your vouchers towards a bottle of wine. However, if you want a bottle of wine, and have a daily voucher, then using it for a wine discount could be a good benefit. You may use a voucher for any beverage up to $14. M

Labadee is a private RCCL destination. You walk off the ship, down the pier and the beaches and activities are there. It is an extension of the ship, so all the food is brought off the ship and included. There is a Bar B Que buffet type lunch (hot dogs, burgers, salad, fruit, cookies etc.). If you have a drink package, you can use it there, or use your sea pass card to purchase a drink. The only transportation is an RCCL tram if you don't want to walk. Beach chairs and umbrellas are plentiful on every beach and are free. You can rent beach beds/clam shells/cabanas if you wish. There are activities, such as zip lining, roller coaster, jet skis, walking tour and more. Of course you can simply enjoy the beach and ocean. m

Booked on the August 2023 Jewel TA from Amsterdam to Cape Liberty (17 nights), to include Iceland (four days, three ports), Greenland and Canada (three ports). Cruise also includes Prins Christin Sund. No more than 2 sea days at a time. All the sea days are in-between stops. Great Itinerary. Super excited. M

When I went back to check a recent letter it notes that you can a voucher for 40% off wine under $100 or 20% off for wines over $100. Cheers! M

I tip $1-2 per drink. $1 if I am simply asking for them to pour a glass of wine. $2 if I’m getting something that requires mixing. Have no way to know if that is appropriate or what others tip. m

Funny we were just talking about the kids parade last night. It has been years since we recall seeing one. No internet back then. Lot of parents don't want their kids photographed by others and perhaps put on line. M

OP-you know how life works…… you got yours back early because you gave yourselves plenty of time.😀 If you had waited till closer to your travel date, there would’ve been some sort of delay. m

Coastal Kitchen had ribeye steak listed on the menu, but said nothing and served a piece of prime rib. For a while, they didn’t say anything just put the platter in front of you. At some point they let you know upfront that it is not ribeye steak and is substituted. I never mind a menu substitution, but it is nice to be told prior to or when one places the order.
