  1. I’m with you. I hate that pinnacle circle regardless if in the lounge or another venue. I never sit there. A couple of times when the pinnacles had an evening lounge event, the chairs were already arranged in a circle (by staff) We left. And, I believe that moving those chairs and putting them in a large circle, excluding everyone else, and taking up lots of space, is a reason for Pinnacle removal from the suite lounge. It’s actions like you described, that cause me not to wear a Pinnacle pin. m
  2. Good to know, thanks! Prior to 7, I've generally used a voucher at the coffee shop, I'll try the lounges again. M
  3. Not Sweetbread, but SWEET BREAD, a huge difference. A space changes everything. Enjoy which ever you prefer. m
  4. Safe Place?.....Never considered the lounges to be any safer than other public areas of the ship. . First I've heard of this as a selling point. Had a drink in the champagne bar last week on Allure and felt safe. M
  5. Of course P includes more benefits than D+, as well it should. Many P's have thousands of points. I wasn't listing all benefits, mainly those where upper tier D+ and P are similar . Many of the P. benefits you listed are not always offered to P's. It is nice when it is, but we never plan on it. We now purchase the dining package ( if not is a full suite) so we don't have to jockey position for CK dining. Not that it matters, my least favorite benefit is the SL. We have several cruises coming up and NONE include a ship with a CK. Dinner will be MRD or specialty. no stress. m
  6. lucky , I've never seen that machine operational that early. Seems it is closer to 7AM M
  7. I wasn't listing every benefit of P and of course the major benefit is a free cruise at 700 points and every 350 points thereafter. My point was that upper tier D+ already have many of the same benefits as P. If there is ever a new D+ category, then of course , folks will expect increased benefits. My comment was that the benefits are already similar to P in many areas. ( of course P has more than D+) and it was a bit Tongue-in-cheek that D+ benefits will be higher than P benefits Keep in mind that the D+ benefits that are the same as P are the same for 525 points and all Pinnacle, not just those with 700 points. Many cruisers have thousands of points. There is no increase in benefits from 700 to 2000, 3000 or higher We all need to be happy for what we get and not expect much more. Me - I hope nothing else is cut - and never expect more! m
  8. I had an item stolen last week on Allure (4 night mid week, no spring break, few kids.) I hope the person who took a $1.25 sign is happy. Funny, they left the hook magnet, which was worth more than the sign they took. M
  9. Mid tier D+ ( 350 or 525 range) benefits are very close to Pinnacle. (same dinner BOGO, same laundry, same lounge use, same 3 amenities for 525 and Pinnace, just one less drink a day, If there is another category with increased benefits, then a new D+ category could very easily have better/more benefits than Pinnacle! M
  10. We only order the cheese selections for the dessert. Not a fan of any of the desserts. M
  11. We are on board allure . As others have mentioned, we did not dock at Nassau, but had an extra sea day. We did dock this morning at Coco Cay. It is windy, but pleasant. According to the stats on the TV, we were moving in the 4–5 nautical miles per hour range. We went in circles all day yesterday. m
  12. Of course, on many sailings, Pinnacle members don’t have concierge/suite lounge access either. m
  13. So what happens at the big pool on Coco Cay? Is it loud DJ music at that pool as well as the Hideaway Beach pool? m
  14. Your status will make no difference in who you select to make your cruise booking. m
  15. All is well on Wonder. We’ve been on for two cruises. I hope the post title doesn’t cause speculation or concern for others. M
  16. In our experience, the person renting the cabana will leave your name at the Coco Beach check in. You will be given a wristband at that time. Than you may arrive at your leisure. m
  17. We were one of the first out Maybe they decided the system is too cumbersome. I would imagine many will misplaced their tickets, not recall which card they used, etc. friends were in T1 last week and had to pay for second cruise to exit. I’m glad it was an easy process for you. m
  18. T1 early December (December 4 and December 8 ) B2B needed a second ticket (and payment) to get out. T5 late December (Dec 22-30) and needed to scan the original ticket to get out. arriving at T1 tomorrow (January 21) for back to back. Can report my exit in two weeks. m
  19. Apparently you can use the same credit card that you used to enter and it will find your original ticket m
  20. Those in the know (who they ever they are) say it is NO as the benefit is an onboard benefit only M
  21. Depending on the ship, and number of passengers in various categories, often most pinnacles are designated to use the crown lounge as well. So the occupants include diamond, diamond plus, and pinnacles. m
  22. I agree but it seems to sell for that and higher. Folks on my upcoming are booking it like it is free. BTW-I booked 7 nights ( and sea days) dining package for less than that beach club price. everybody has their own budgets, everybody knows what’s important to them, and everybody can spend money anyway they wish. Seems RCCL is onto something… The more expensive they make it, the more people want it. m
  23. New(er) parking fees At T1 and T5 you pay when you enter. Your receipt has an exit code. If you paid for one week but are in the lot for longer, the exit code does not work. In order to leave, you must pay for the days (plus one) past the initial parking fee. ex-7 N B2B cruise, pay for 8 days when you enter and another 8 to exit. plan accordingly. m
  24. Haven't heard that question. It is a 5 or more night cruise? M
