  1. Live loop didn't work to show NA leaving. Prince Rupert - Cow Bay Marina - Cow Bay, Prince Rupert (teleport.io)
  2. Looks like a nice day in Prince Rupert BC, 5/18/23
  3. I have not been on RCCL in many years but are you talking about a rental chair? I dont think that any of the other lines we have been on had their own chairs once you left the port where you get on and off. You are correct to be concerned because of the high AK tides. Sometimes they have to change the gangway locations because of the tides. So is the plan to use their chair to get to the pier and have them take the chair back to the ship and do reverse on return. If that is the plan I don't see it working altho I could be all goofed up. sightcrr
  4. Here is the port schedule for KTN. Cruise Ship Schedule Calendar Combined Ports (claalaska.com) Then Ktn map. downtown-ketchikan-map | Cruise Stories (mycruisestories.com) We like early because you can do more things after crab tour. 6. Check with the cruise lines. The current HAL of 7May had it listed. Also check Lucky chance guide serviceSitka, alaska907-738-8233irmadiman@yahoo.com - Home We have been on lots of AK excursions and it tops the ones without helos. If you do a google map search on "Camp Coogan Bay" it will show you where you go. sightcrr.
  7. Our favorite excursion to Sitika was the Sitka Great Adventure. It is pricy but great. Boat ride to trail head then hike to lake with kayaks and fire cooked hotdogs. Then back. Hike was steep but not to long. Great tour and just the two of us. Saw wild bear on the way back. sightcrr.
  8. B/A in their summer is in the upper 80's F if you trust their pools or beaches.

  11. One of the people we know has back issues so they flew in Stanley. Expensive but great tour. Just got email saying they were closing their flights. Very sad. Top notch all the way but we booked about one year out.
  12. The AK museum and government buildings are within walking distance (check if open on day you are there). Salmon hatchery is short city bus ride. May see eagles & seals there along with millions of tiny fish. If you can see the top of the tram it is worth the ride which is also within walking distance but don't book ahead in case of fog. TheSnowCloud Juneau area Webcams. Check the "Milepost" at library or on line. You didn't ask but make sure you understand that in Ketch you likely will be at Wards Cove 8 miles out of town with short hours. sightcrr.
  13. For what it looks like from the ship look at this site. In the archives you can go back and see what 2022/23 looked like. I had relatives on NCL in Stanley the same day as O-dam and got great shots of ncl Star. Find a cruise that has similar itinerary. If you leave from B/A it will be very hot the first few days. You can pan & zoom and stop/slow down the rotation. O-dam only HAL with it. Webcam Holland America Line - Oosterdam - PANOMAX 360° sightcrr
  14. Make sure you check the city bus to Mendenhall as the last I heard the closest stop is 1.5 miles from the visitor center. With so many other things to see you don't want to waste any time. One more website to see Juneau and ISP. TheSnowCloud Juneau area Webcams

  21. Make sure you are specific about where you are planning to fish. I think that like many of the Wa rivers most but not all AK rivers are already closed. Not sure about ocean. sightcrr.
  22. I have had very good experiences with Costal in Juneau. My first thought was that 13 Sept is pretty late in the season and not sure that helos would be available. I would be making some calls now and remember that Juneau is in different time zone from Seattle. sightcrr.
  23. Here is a site for very accurate info on where the various ships dock. WW & WE mean Ward Cove. Cruise Ship Schedule Calendar Combined Ports (claalaska.com) sightcrr.
