  1. I’ve accidentally hit that but a box pops up to ask if I really want to do that…EM
  2. Dream class ships do Carnival; I believe Spirit class of Carnival goes 3/4 of the way around. Crystal Serenity (when she gets moving again); Seaside class of MSC, also Fantasia class almost all the way around. EM
  3. They do carryon only, so likely self debarked. EM
  4. I was invited for the sail away on Summit from Bermuda yesterday. There weren’t a lot there. It had rained, skies gray. After awhile it started to rain so everyone left. Free drinks offered. EM
  5. I did a B2B2B on Millie out of Miami and was invited on the last two legs. Was not Elite yet. It was the B2B that did it. EM
  6. We did Pisa on a HAL tour, and it was paired with Lucca, a lovely walled town. Might be an idea. There have been several Live from threads on the Carnival board from those on the initial Venezia sailing, and the first Pride cruise after drydock. Both left from Barcelona and there is a lot of hotel and restaurant discussion there.EM
  7. I’m on Summit now. I had 90 free loyalty minutes, and was looking at plans. Since I’m on day three, and only need four days, it was less expensive to get the continuous 24 hour plan for one device, each day, than the length of voyage plan for the remaining days. I can switch back and forth between iPhone and iPad. EM
  8. I’m on Summit now. No self service. There are staff at every buffet entrance directing people to the sinks. EM
  9. I’ve attended M&Gs for large groups, and after on time never bring a gift for an exchange. I am a minimal packer, don’t have room to take anything, or bring more home. Most don’t last long enough for games. EM
  10. I’m currently on Summit on the way to Bermuda, second sea day. I have a forward inside and woke up the first morning to feeling some motion. It comes and goes, not a problem. EM
  11. The bunks will both be on th sofa side of the room. If you use the one over the couch, to bump your head you would need to be tripping over the couch. Not sure of your ship…originally on Dream the big bed was under the window, so if that is the configuration, have him sleep on the side opposite the bunks. On later vessels they may have rotated the bed 90 degrees so head is against the wall under a bunk. Which if only taking one kid, you likely wouldn’t be using. EM
  12. I’m up much too early on a cruise day. Have about a 90 mile drive to Cape Liberty to board Celebrity Summit to Bermuda. I have been there three times, have nothing planned but to go to St. George’s and browse the touristy shops and see if they are dunking the wench at noon. Drove up to eastern PA from GA on Tuesday/Wednesday to attend the graduation of a grand niece and visit with family. EM
  13. If your cruise only visited Schengen ports, they would not have to collect them. But if the ship leaves that area for a port or two, they will collect the passports and return them when no longer needed. EM
  14. Go to cruisetimetables.com and choose convenient ports in the UK from the ‘Cruises from’ list. Then choose the time you want to cruise. It will show you who is sailing from there, and their itineraries. EM
  15. Go to cruisetimetables.com and choose some ports you would like to visit from the ‘cruises to’ list. Then choose the times you want to sail. It will tell you who calls there, and their itineraries. It is not a travel agency site, purely informational. EM
  16. Have you googled accessible Caribbean? John has a website that lists accessible excursions for many islands…. EM
  17. Celebrity M class and HAL vista class as well as Cunard QE and QV fit into that size group, too. EM
  18. I think they had some plans that were scuttled by Covid. They had planned to put an Armonia class ship in Tampa…not that it would have added new ports, but opportunities. I suggested the same class ship would fit nicely into JAX. They do visit other Caribbean ports, but not from the US. For their European guests, they should add a stop in NOLA or Galveston…EM
  19. No, MSC is definitely family oriented. They are launching a new luxury subsidiary called Explora Journeys that may be adult. EM
  20. Yes, English will be the primary language on all Royal Caribbean ships no matter where they sail. EM
  21. I don’t see any on Divina, or Meraviglia. But on Seaside there is a set deck 10 aft starboard, and another deck 14 aft port. There are many more sets on Seashore, starboard forward. All are balconies. I only checked the ships sailing from US. EM
  22. My problem is that a page might have a post with many pictures. When I open the thread, it will open in the pictures, which I’ve already seen. On some forums, just clicking on the thread takes you to the last unread post. You no longer need to click on the circle or Star. But other times you have to click on the circle…but it doesn’t work. Irritating. EM
