By my own measure, the twins are 33” wide, making the Queen 66” wide. Not quite a king, although I saw somewhere recently that that is what is considered a king in Europe. Don’t know if that is true. EM
Carnival does not. Celebrity only for concierge and suites. I believe HAL does. That is not to say they will tell you the MDR is open, they will try to direct you to the buffet. EM
Chances are your passport was scanned when you checked in…or at the airport when you arrived? Are you looking at the Seaside cruises? They are all r/t Martinique with first port Guadeloupe. To debark in Guadeloupe you would have to book the whole second cruise. You can’t just stay on an extra day. EM
Welcome to Cruise Critic. Have you visited the Celebrity board here? At the top of their board is a sticky where people have reviewed cabins on S class ships, and a spread sheet created. Reviews should reflect the same cabin on all S class, as they are in the same location. EM
I believe status match is a one time thing. If it expires, you can’t match again, you start all over. If it’s important, just grab a 3 day cruise in steerage. We will welcome you. EM
Are you mostly interested in current ships, or would older ships do? There is a website called shipsnostalgia dot com that might be able to link you to older/historic ship plans. From what I get, most of the members are retired merchant seamen, usually from the UK. But they might be able to point you in the right direction. EM
The train ride was at the end of our tour, and instead of having to climb down out of the train and up into the bus back to the port, they had a ramp that made a level transit from train to bus. EM
If you still have the holder but not the wire, just use a cable tie. They’re cheap, come in all lengths and colors… just cut it off when you need to change the tag. EM
The best exchange rate will be a bank ATM at your entry port. I have often ordered some from my bank at home just to have some handy but many don’t. The ship will give you the worst rates. EM
