  1. You can fill out the online Special Needs form, call Special Needs using the # posted on the Celebrity website or call Captain's Club to request distilled water for your cabin. They will also provide an extension cord if you need it. If these aren't in your room when you arrive ask your cabin attendant and they'll be sure to have these in your cabin when they do turn down service. The water is free of charge.
  2. I don't have a photo, but we've had 3 in a room a couple of times on the Summit, which is the same model ship. Some of the cabins come with a love seat sized couch. The bottom of these pull out into the 3rd bed, which does mostly block access to the balcony. However, the bed is put away when the cabin attendant makes up the room in the morning, so there's no problem getting in and out of the balcony during the day. Other cabins have a normal sized couch. When we cruised with my adult son the attendant just took off the back pillows and made up the couch like a bed when he came for turn down service. This meant there was no impact on balcony access at any point during our trip.
  3. Thank you for the nice review. We're looking forward to our upcoming cruise on Infinity, so it's nice to have a preview. Can you tell me where you took that photo with all the conch shells?
  4. We boarded Summit out of NJ with 4 bottles of wine for the 2 of us with no trouble in June. We're about to do the same when boarding Infinity out of FLL next month.
  5. Not an all included offer. An offer to purchase separate packages.
  6. I called to move our cabin and was offered an upgrade at $20/pp/day. She also offered to sell me the drinks, dining and/or Wi-Fi packages.
  7. Just called and made a reservation for our free Caribbean cruise. Surprise, the agent answered on the 1st ring. He wanted me to fill out the form and send it in, but I explained the cruise we wanted was leaving in less than 1 month and we need to make flight reservations, etc. After forwarding our email, he made the reservation for us, so here we go.
  8. We had both these "events" on our recent Summit cruise. It's a random casino credit posted to the cards of those who are actively playing during that time frame. No one is barred from playing during that time frame.
  9. Yes and yes. You’ll find Bigelow and Fields & Selects teas in the Oceanview Cafe with light cakes and finger sandwiches. Cafe Al Bacio has specialty teas and treats all day, including late afternoon. There are several venues with live predinner music. You’ll need to check the daily for your specific cruise to locate the specific schedule.
  10. No delta 8 is not allowed on cruise ships.
  11. This was our same experience for a recent cruise. We have an upcoming cruise in Feb and have been notified of 3 changes within the past month. FBC sent an email saying they will notify us when all is settled. Prices have risen considerably so im hoping this works out.
  12. Not a new policy. Just that some people ignore the policy. We ran into many mobility challenges when my Mother, who is wheelchair/scooter dependent had trouble getting down hallways on the Summit because passengers left scooters in the hallways. Cabin attendants had to knock on doors to request scooters be kept in cabins so others on scooters/wheelchairs could get by.
  13. Are you saying you received a free. Cruise on the Beyond via this Blue Chip Club offer? I thought this was only for the Solstice out of California
  14. Backup plan, use government distributed test with an online monitor who will send you results in 15 mins. Some on these boards have been using onpoint
  15. Correct. My DH and I carried 4 bottles of wine onto the Summit last month.
  16. Ken, when we went on an Alaska cruise Celebrity provided us with a comfy throw blanket for use on our veranda and also had them set up on the loungers that were out on deck. Do they have throw blankets available for guest use on this trip?
  17. Tuscan is $59pp on our upcoming cruise on the Summit. The 1st night discounted rate is $43.48, but that has been sold out for as long as I've been checking.
  18. I filled out the online form and didn't receive a response so after 3 days I used the email as recommended by other posters and received that response within 24hrs. My DS just used the email and received his response in less than 24hrs.
  19. We've cruised on the Apex and Summit since the restart and didn't find anyone giving discounts onboard.
  20. Following along. We'll be joining you for the return trip from Reykjavik to Boston. Can't wait! Can you let us know if there are any enrichment speakers on board? I don't see anyone listed in the app yet.
  21. DH and I were permitted to bring on 4 bottles of wine for our recent Summit cruise.
  22. We've ordered throught the Celebrity Optum link several times and each time they arrived within a week of ordering. Did you receive an order confirmation and then a 2nd shipping confirmation the next work day? The shipping confirmation includes a link so you can track your order.
  23. I would call back if I were in your shoes and ask for a supervisor if the rep can't take care of your problem. We booked via FBC for our next 2 trips and both had flights cancelled by the airlines. The one where had tickets with seats issued was automatically rebooked by the airline. The one where tickets with seats had not been issued was rebooked by Celebrity. We were told that all flights get ticketed approximately 45 days prior to flight, so yours should have been ticketed by now. By the way, for one of the flights we were charged a $200 change fee by FBC because someone internally didn't catch that the change was due to a cancelled flight. I saw this and had to call for them to take off the charge, which they did. Be sure to check your documents after the change is made.
