I have gotten several bounce back offers for free balcony from Carnival (similar to those offered several weeks later online). ALso MSC outright gave me a voucher for (up to) 7 night cruise in a balcony cabin on the last day of the cruise. They have a different system there. You go up to the casino host who looks you up in their system. The offer voucher is printed and given to you right there.

I have gotten offers directly from the casino host because ( and he told me this) "I have seen you here every night". I consistently play table minimums....

Bottom line it was a written rule. Doesn't matter if "she had gotten away with it before". SHe got caught. Consequences.....

Carnival's Ocean Players club is tied to your VIFP number/cruise card. It would be relatively easy to use one card in the slots, but almost impossible at the tables.

In todays world this has really become a necessity 😒

Mine was one of those free balcony offers. $100pp deposit that came back as OBC. Total (including taxes, port fees, gratuities and insurance) was little over $700 for a 5 night cruise out of Jacksonville. Like I said previously, they just transferred evreything to the new date.

Casino host. They transferred the deposit to another cruise. In effect, I moved it from a Dec cruise to a Feb cruise. Exact same ship/cabin.

2 months ago. And it was a casino rate too.

It's been over a year since my last Carnival cruise and I'm wondering if Carnival has gone to the reservation system for their shows ( main lounge and comedy club). Other ships use the ship's ap to make those reservations and was wondering if any recent Carnival cruisers can verify? Thanks in advance! baf

I agree. Those travel size ( 100 ml) refillable shampoo and conditioner bottles. Travel size toothpaste/soap.disinfectant wipes. I have travel sized hot rollers/blow dryer. This all fits in 2,1- gallon baggies. Meds, clothes and power strip (one of those without a surge protector). The 2 cruises I went solo ( without hubbs ) I had everything in a carry on and a 22 inch suitcase for a 7 night cruise. Even had room for all the Easter candy I had brought for my nieces/nephews. 28 cruises and have it down pretty well.

This thread made me check our Dec 2024 PC cruise. When I booked, it was listed as a partial transit. Now it just list Colon as a port. Guess I will have to keep a sharp eye out for whe excursions for that port are available to book. As of today, there arent any listed for Colon

just have you and you brother in law ( or sister and hubbs) go to guest services and ask to hve sail/sign card room switched. Old cards will have t be surrendered before new ones will be issued. We have done this several times with us and my son/daughter in law.

Power strips, multi plug box outlets/adaptors and extension cords (without surge protectors) are allowed on board when used with proper caution. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark. Above from Carnival website

I booked under this DOUE for me. Hubbs only has DOU in casino but wants to purchase cheers. I know we can't purchase it ahead of time, but where onboard does one go to purchase cheers? Thanks for your help! baf

My comment was in response to post #72 who asked how it works if one person has DOU everywhere and your cabin mate only has DOU in the casino. And BOTH people in the cabin have to buy it ahead of time. But Thank you anyway.

yes. The person who has DOU in the casino will have to buy cheers onboard. Can't get it ahead of time. AND ther is no discount for cheers for have the DOU in the casino.
