  1. I would wait until you get on board to buy an Internet package. First use your Elite minutes and then you can buy a package if you are satisfied with the quality. It will be pro-rated for the cruise. As for Specialty Restaurants, if you have particular days and times you want to dine, then book now. If you have a package, you will have to wait until you are on the ship and the times and days you want may not be available. You definitely can use OBC if issued by Celebrity. Go to Manage My Reservation and upon check-out, make sure you use you OBC as an option.
  2. If you have certain times you like to dine at, then book in advance and forget about the 4 pack. We don't care for dining at 8:30 or 9 pm.
  3. Both restaurants are generally open on one sea day. The menu is a reduced menu with usually 3 choices for each course. We have enjoyed our lunch experiences at Murano.
  4. 5:30 to 9 pm were the hours recently in the Specialty Restaurants.
  5. Your Elite minutes will stay in a separate account. Some cruisers will wait until these minutes are depleted and then purchase a plan. This would be pro-rated based on days left on the cruise. Yes, the discount would be applied on ship.
  6. I second that. The best deals are on port days and deals are available! I went to a couple of the 'free' massages. That convinced me not to book with certain individuals.
  7. You got something against eating those frozen hockey pucks?😶
  8. I sent a pair of black leather shoes and was pleased with the final product. It was included in our benefits. The shoes were returned in time for dinner.
  9. How about the question that has not been asked in a week or so... "Are there self-service washers and dryers on Celebrity ships?"
  10. At one time, there were major supply issues. I thought the choices on our cruise was similar to the past. I also was apprehensive but was very pleased with all of the choices.
  11. You may dine at other areas as well. The dinner menu in the buffet may change somewhat nightly as they have theme nights. For instance, there may be Italian night, Mexican night, German night, etc. There is a different atmosphere at the Oceanview buffet for dinner as compared to the lunch craziness.
  12. 18% is added to the price you see online or on the APP. Typically, it is added at checkout.
  13. Aren't the burgers already frozen and cooked Then warmed on the grill?
  14. I would suggest that if you want to dine early, show up when one of the MDR opens or shortly thereafter. We arrived at 6:30 and were told to come back in one hour as it was full But then again, our cruise ship was nearly sold out. There are no early or late seatings.
  15. On our recent cruise, there were no special lines for Aqua class or any others except for Suites. People were waiting for their times to be called outside. Luckily, it was not raining or hot outside.
  16. Our cruises have been 7 days in the Caribbean. At one time, we had two speakers on each cruise and talks on computer literacy. Nothing in years unless you want to count a captain talking about a cat. 😑
  17. On our last 10 cruises, there has been only one speaker. It was a naturalist on our Alaska cruise. When we first started cruising on Celebrity, there was at least one speaker on each cruise. Major reduction in the Beyond the Podium Program.
  18. It seems that you got the sales pitch. You needed to be there by 6 pm or you would be asked to return around 7:30 pm. Our cruise had about 3000 cruisers and most venues were packed. As mentioned, lines began to form around 5:15 for the MDRs.
  19. We arrived at 6:30 at Normandie and were told to return in an hour. It was filled up we were told. There were no assigned times.
  20. One device at a time for Basic. For Basic, you will be able to send emails but will struggle with photos. As mentioned, your ability to access the apps you mention will depend on several factors. Our ship was nearly 100% capacity and it was a struggle at times even with Premium
  21. On the Beyond, you will be using your SeaPass card to enter your room.
  22. I agree that the cakes and cupcakes look much better than they taste. I stick to ice cream, gelato, chocolate mousse and creme brule. If you are dining in a Specialty Restaurant, then that is another story. Many excellent choices.
  23. I have learned to bring a copy of an invoice to the ship. Only needed it once but it was important to have it to confirm the perks.
  24. We were disappointed with the quality of the WIFI on Beyond. I would have been really upset if I had paid $$$ for even the premium package. We used OBC to upgrade.
  25. Yes, that is typical. You should ask for an invoice from Celebrity and it will show all of your perks. There will be codes but many can figure them out. You will have a great time on your cruise. We really enjoy Celebrity.
