  1. But that was before they allowed you to order a drink over the limit and pay the difference. Maybe they plan to making more money this way. It adds up.
  2. Isn't it annoying to have to walk around with a special cup all the time?
  3. How do you book this? Do you have to call or can it be done online?
  4. It must be a mistake because it doesn't make any sense.
  5. Club Orange is refunded with whatever deposit you paid if you cancel the entire cruise. It cannot be cancelled on a cruise you intend to sail.
  6. Yes you can refare with Club Orange. It is just very complicated. The category that you pay for is the controlling price. So if you pay for a VF and get upgraded to a VB, the refare is based on VF. However, you have to get an agent who understands this. Most of them insist that the VB is controlling and you have to get transferred to a resolution specialist to make it work.
  7. No matter how hard it is, talking with someone on the phone is the best way to get this resolved.
  8. I also pick the deck below the Lido. It is so convenient and we have never been bothered by noise.
  9. I would always pick a specific cabin.
  10. It might depend on where your cabin is located. I believe decks 7 and 8 are regular size balconies. I'm not sure about decks 5 & 6.
  11. Nobody cares as much as you do. Only you will keep going until you get what you want.
  12. They must just be using this terminology to emphasize that it is last minute. I don't think they care where you are coming from.
  13. There are sometimes cruises available last minute at very low prices. If an inside cabin is $499 for a 10 day cruise, that would be the same price as the standby. And, you could pick your cabin and be guaranteed to sail.
  14. Unbelievable. The HAL website still has it listed as a Southern Caribbean sailing. But, a travel agency has it listed as an Eastern itinerary. Wouldn't you think that the cruise line would want to have accurate information on their website?
  15. Oops. Just realized that Rotterdam is the only ship in port that day. Still, you should probably be okay. There is almost always room on the top deck of the parking garage.
  16. There are many times that 5 or 6 ships are in port at the same time. I wouldn't think this would be any different and you should probably be able to park. And, as you say, those same ships will be disembarking passengers so their spots will be available.
  17. There is a small dance floor at one end of Billboard.
  18. It is available with the nonrefundable fare, advantage fare and HIA. Maybe it can't be combined with the private fare.
  19. Since it is in the penalty phase, you are not entitled to anything. However, sometimes they will work with you. But, you have to go through your travel agent.
  20. Are you sure? Could it be a mistake? The HAL website and a travel agency are showing that as a 9 day cruise that is available for booking.
  21. Are you parking at the port in Fort Lauderdale or a parking lot outside? I understand what Roy is saying about getting through security without an actual ship departure from Port Everglades.
