  1. Just saying, don’t you think you come across as an entitled snowflake telling people “who do they think they are” and stepping forward?
  2. Enjoy yourself and have a great time. People here opine and argue about everything.
  3. I’m so sorry for your loss, my condolences to you and your family. May she Rest In Peace.
  4. Usually happens day after (or night of) Thanksgiving.
  5. Cococay, more to do and the locals are not harassing. The one plus on Labadee is the zip line, but how many times will you do that?
  6. Question two, why didn’t they just leave? It’s very sad but I don’t believe it’s Royal’s fault. My heart goes out to their family for their loss.
  7. Get someone to replace them and pay the other person.
  8. We’re on Anthem for Xmas, as normal I’ll have my card punched at Guest Services. Yes, I was told on one or two cruises they can’t but spoke to other crew members. The issue is really not punching the card in the wrong place. But when you have someone who knows what they’re doing, it’s a breeze. And, I don’t use the lanyard all the time (but don’t begrudge anyone who does). I just find it very convenient during the day if I’m out and about to pool, gym or windjammer, it’s just easy and safe. The plastic sleeves are a pain, it’s difficult to pull out a card from a wet or tight sleeve and they usually break. This works for me and my family, YMMV.
  9. Oh please, a lanyard under a shirt works well. If you run, seapass cards drop out of pockets. The lanyard works. And, I’ll say it again even RFID cards can be punched. The person just needs to know where to punch. So, I will happily and tackily wear my lanyard. Everyone enjoy it however you like, whatever floats your boat.
  10. Our last cruise was on Allure in August an no issues getting cards punched. Lanyards are the easiest way to carry card!
  11. So, what is the issue with producing luggage tags? It was never an issue in the past - you completed your check-in and “bam” your luggage tags were ready for printing. Don’t understand the pending, they’re not saving paper as it’s our paper if there are any cabin changes.
  12. Yes, you can use them. We bought some in Costco years ago and used to keep in touch with kids. Also, good for use on shore at beach with no cell charge.
  13. They basically destroyed the gym/fitness Center. Hugely disappointing. We’re on EOS in May after next dry dock and hoping they don’t do the same.
  14. How many people order extra plates? Most times, it’s the wait staff offering to bring more (as “better” service equals better tips).
  15. Another Covid casualty. Spoke with GS on Allure and it’s gone and not coming back. Very sad, it was a nice service especially for the holidays and big convenience if you don’t want to carry one.
  16. One thing we keep missing to do is this restaurant. I always wanted to try, me being a beefeterian. 🙂. Guess out of site up in the Solarium, out of mind. We’re on Anthem next month, not sure if they have Samba.
  17. We were on that cruise as far as Barcelona, it was a bummer they were doing work but there was still so much to do. Got to see Mamma Mia on that cruise before they moved the show to Allure. I wouldn’t be happy on Allure if the Solarium was closed.
