No time for research so relying on your kindness to advise if this is an early morning on deck sail in as it was in Skjolden and Olden. Also, any suggestions for a DYI day? Thanks so much. Your information so far has been invaluable. Although the sail in to Skjolden and Olden was in drizzle, fog it was still dramatic.

@Miss G Thanks for checking in via @Fouremco. I too looked everywhere for the thread which has disappeared for no reason I can think of. I’m happy to report a technical guy from Telus fixed my issue which he said had nothing to do with the esim but I still think I made a wrong selection during the installation. They claim to have excellent customer service but I have had NO response from Airalo aside from an acknowledgement and ticket number so am hoping the esim works when we arrive in Europe! Thanks again.

I’m with you! Lukewarm food would be sent back. Fortunately we don’t drink alcohol and don’t go to any of the bars/entertainment venues so, hopefully, we won’t be impacted too badly with crowds. This is what I researched for our September trip. The blue cruise bus departs from the parking lot in front of each of the ports 4 terminals and drops you near the Columbus Monument. €4.50 round trip, cash only.

We bought it for our May Sky cruise but will not purchase it for our September Mediterranean cruise. Way too expensive!

If you're going on the Grand Princess the buffet does not compare to the MDR and we found it VERY cold (May) with servers and guests wearing coats.

Guess I misunderstood all the posts I quoted. The cruises I referenced were both 14 day voyages.

When we booked B2B Alaska cruises we were given one credit for each segment but when we booked a 14 day Norweigan Fjiords and 14 day Mediterranean we were given only 1 credit. When I questioned it I was told if it was booked as a 14 day then only 1 credit. Go figure!

That may NOT be their issue. I have read on the boards that, depending on how busy the ports/hotel is, there can be difficulty getting a taxi for the short distance.

@dawnvip The strike threat does add another level of concern. Hope you aren’t travelling anywhere this summer you need the 6 month validity for since your passport expires in October! Glad I got an appointment for June. Now just have to keep my fingers crossed that the strike doesn’t happen or is over by then. 🤞🏻
