Last time one checked, think the crew entry fee discount was 100% on production of crew ID card.
So, crew have a choice, pay for taxi to beach and back, then pay for beds and/or use of facilities, or walk and enter for free. Decisions, decisions.
More ships in port, which equates to more crew, therefore more decisions have to be made..
For an “out of the way - off radar” seating with a seaview, knowledgeable Cunarders will head for The Atlantic Room - Deck 11 & The Board Room - Deck 9 (just off The Commodore Club).
Trust this assists….
Many years ago, Target used to have them for hire. Failing that, there is a large and very popular, Scooter hire company just outside the port to one’s right. Sorry, their name escapes one. But Google will find it and Target full details
Agree with one.
Had major knee surgery and a shuffle was the only way to walk, being part of one’s physiotherapist recovery program. DW was my “crutch”. Still, brisk walkers made comments such as “get a move on”, “out of my way”, “oh god”, even when there was ample passing areas.

Plus… The ships are decked out wonderfully
Cons…Could be many babies, prams, pushchairs, young children etc...
As this particular cruise is very popular with crew and land side Cunard employees as an employee benefit cruise, where the whole family can cruise together.
Tried once, never repeated.
As an aside.
If there are any slight negative thoughts about the quality at Juju’s, no need to be concerned. Because the Royal Westmorland have an “interest”. If one gets the drift. 😉
Let’s put it this way. The RW would not wish their discerning guests using a beach establishment and be disappointed.
Juju’s also caters for weddings, private parties, government get togethers etc.
It is not possible to walk to the Pitons from Pointe Seraphine within a port call time frame.
Take a cab.
The cruise dockside/terminal at Pointe Seraphine with shops, bars etc is less than a 1 minute walk from the ship’s gangway.. Then about 3 minutes walk to the cab rank.
For a great “local” lunch, overlooking the sea, then consider Juju’s on the West Coast.
Many are unable to find it, so they sadly drive on…..
They will be happy to set up a romantic table for two, with umbrella, on the sand.
Their “jerk” said it all.
Holland House Hotel….. Upstairs Restaurant….Overlooking the beach, sea and ships.
They have a fabulous (Chef Special) Seafood Platter for two to share.
Also their wine list is extensive…. They have a Montrachet to go perfectly with the platter.
Book in advance….. Give them a call.
