On our September 14 Day NE/CAN Sailing we purchased the Premium as a Diamond Member. We did use it with much challenge with tech difficulties but got thru the entire sailing. Really found the location was in the Concierge Lounge on 9 right under the rotor. Cabin on 10 midship was really any better with wifi. Granted with 5-6 ports, we had no problems connecting with the land wifi/telephone provider. With our upcoming sailing we may use the essential and not to go higher for 6 days and 3 ports of calls. Interesting with the increase of 3 dollars from three months ago. So we will see what decision we will make.

Pretty tight here in the Big Apple will resolved.

Granted John, we are one of the star top cities getting multiples of buses each week. 8000 people last week alone. And thoughts of out of service cruise ships to be utilized. We have too see with two other cruise ports in the harbor what the city will do if pushed to shove with more busses arriving. In NYC papers we have to see what action if this escalates. Granted I would like to depart on my sailing in June from Brooklyn on the QM2.

You're right, you need a booking number to access the only cruise you booked under that number. If additional bookings are made, you need those particular booking numbers to access those sailings. Cunard.com unfortunately do not post post sailing histories of world club members as in the past.

Off dining hours ok but traffic during dinner time, ?. Like dining in Grand Central Station or Waterloo Station with people transiting BTW your tables. Doors are normally closed. I wouldn't out of courtesy. Different than going thru that corridor IMHO...

Just mentioning that there are those who do use it as a cut thru.

There are those that use it to cut thru to the Queens Room and G32. Very quietly but do cut thru sincere Upper Britannia is serving dinner. Many aren't attracted to cut thru the Art Gallery.

It's been quite some time since we've heard about a 4 day crossing. Use to be 5 and even then a long, long, longtime ago. 7 is the NYC-SOU OR SOU-NYC standard now a days. Never heard the Mary 2 pushing 4 days across the pond.

Passengers do create adventures and fantasies on vacations.

As I have seen on many other postings, To Each Is Own..... Passengers make their voyages what they feel comfortable either with who they meet, what they wear and what they do....

Ditto......Agree with your honest opinion. We feel that whatever other passengers wore did not affect us and we enjoyed ourselves.

I believe passengers make the contacts that they feel at the moment.

Don't know if you ever thought of it, we do periodical Zooms with those people. Even have a upcoming one with the UK. We stay on so long, we don't keep track of the time. Fun to talk about other things than cruising. Means a good friendship of mixed subjects.

Terminology like Voyage and Sailing... Strolling the Promenade Deck not Race Cars, Surf Boarding, Sky Lines..... Yes, we do Guard the terminology'........

A Cunard Ship is about setting the feeling "After 6". It does matter once you are on board and see it for yourself especially the evenings called Gala. You don't get the same feelings on a busy, hustle & bustle cruise ship. Not the same at all!

For a hotel located in a area known as a Civic Center of the Boro of Brooklyn during the daytime, it will serve all your needs while lodging there. During the Day you will experience Brooklyn with it's hustle and bustle that the area is known for ex. Main General Post Office, Supreme & Family Courts and Federal Court House for Eastern Atlantic States. Yes, you will not be alone........

Well described.... They are working on building the area up. Know someone stayed at the Brooklyn the night before a sailing and it was an experience but made it thru. So sorry that Court and Smith Streets are a distance for dining.
