The Daily’s are always dated for the day after the evening delivery. They describe the activities and open times of the day and “today” always means the day after delivery.
As you will be on a Caribbean cruise, during the day a substantial portion of all passengers will be on deck or in port. You will have no problem finding a quiet, or even a deserted, bar in which to sit and read.

Fleet wide, NCL only provides cabin service once per day. I find I don’t miss turn down service greatly. Three people for two days for $1,000 additional? That’s not a bad deal.
Bring a Kindle loaded with at least two books. Attend the daily beginner bridge (cards) lesson. Eat breakfast and lunch in the MDRs (takes more time than the buffet). Take the ship’s tour ($$). Hang around the bars and meet new people. Surely you had a purpose in signing up for a TA.
