    i am surprised the lido sound system is that loud that you can hear it from land. i know on the ship they always have it blasting loud but did not expect you can hear from where they are in that clip

    carnival recommends flights after 12 noon so you should be ok the airport is about 30 minutes away from the port, with traffic that can be like 45 minutes to 1 hour if you are doing self assist debarkation where you carry your bags off the ship, it would save time and help you make the flight

    The platinum concierge is very very useless, like it never exists. if you search the forum you will find a ton of topics about this perk that never exists

    for the breakaway/breakaway plus/prima and prima plus ships you need reservations for some of the theater shows and specially dinning restaurants for the smaller older ships like the jewel class ships you only need reservations for specially dinning

    they are the worse of the worse. no notification at all with changes and the airline app is always slow to update. the only way to find out changes is by checking my flight daily

    i have done alot of solo cruises by myself and never had to share a table in the MDR or specially restaurants. the only place i had a share table was in the supper club

    Norwegian like Carnival has a free rope course. Royal is really really begging for money. whats next, 100 dollars to play mini golf?

    the galley staff have color coded uniforms. black is chef, blue is sous chef, red is cook..something like that. i forgot the exact order

    its the galley for both dinning rooms, mid ship and aft. you can not walk thru. you need to go up to another deck and back down. This is common on lots of other ships if you do the behind the scenes tour, you can go to galley

    they very very rarely check the ticket names. you can give your shore excursion ticket to whoever it might be issue if you need to sign a waiver to do the excursions then they might check names on the tickets with those that signed the waiver

    If you do not have the dinning package, it is normal and been the norm for years for the flat fee restaurants to list the cover price that you have to pay for you if you have the dinning package then the flat fee restaurant will appear as 0.00 cost but you still have to book flat fee restaurants first and then al la carte last for the checkout price to come out to 0.00

    for the water think of like a delivery charge. i noticed other cruise lines have some kind of delivery fee/surcharge for items that get delivered to your room
