NCL has prefer berthing rights at Bermuda and also has their own ferry service from Kings Wharf to St George. this is why they always have lots of ships to go there

What i do for me is: when the tour guide say be back at this spot in 1-2 hours or so, i don't rely on my time showing device. Instead, i use the timer feature in my device clock app. I set the timer for about 10 minutes before the time the guide says to be back. Portland has a drydock facility that has been used before for other ships and other cruise lines. If the ship can not fit there, i wont be surprised if they use another heavy lift vessel like what they used for the vista many years ago
