  1. If youā€™re not looking for specific singers in lounges, which could change before August, go to the app, click select different sailing, browse ship, and pick Oasis, and the current sailing. It will be pretty close to your entertainment schedule.
  2. Recently on the Ovation, they set up tables on each cabin deck and we received a note in our cabins on times to turn them in and pick up. It worked out very well. There was no lines and it was a smooth process. They were all in cabin number order in boxes, so they could find them quickly. I was on 5 legs, but I believe it was for French Polynesian ports they collected them for.
  3. This just happened to daughter for her July 2 cruise. On June 1 she got that screen, and then an hour so later the shows showed up to reserve. How long have you had that message? Keep checking on website.
  4. I had a Central Park view interior on the Wonder on deck 9, and it was not noisy. Sometimes I could occasionally hear the music below, but it was very pleasant. But I always bring earplugs just in case šŸ˜‰
  5. You can also go to the head icon upper right on app, select a different sailing, then browse our ships. Pick yours and click on current sailing. You should be able to see all the daily planners.
  6. As mentioned, no self serve on Royal ships. I just spent 54 nights on the Ovation and never sent anything out. The body wash/ shampoo combo in shower works just find for hand washing. I will admit, some larger items, I would take in the shower with me when I showered. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
  7. As an add on to what others have saidā€¦no white parties, but I checked my Compass on my recent 5 legs on Ovation. On cruises over 9 nights, dress code was listed on one night as White Attire, along with the usual Caribbean, 70ā€™s, Dress your Best, and Formal. Casual on most. I did see people dressed in white, but not like the White parties Iā€™ve seen on Carnival.
  8. I looked at current planner and there is no white nightā€¦.only Caribbean and 70ā€™s.
  9. You are right. I looked at June 9 sailing and Main dining tab is not showing. However it is on the June 2 sailing. Thatā€™s weird.
  10. Thatā€™s the aqua show, inTENseā€¦..I really liked it and went a couple of times, since I was on 14 day TA
  11. I really like several of the appetizers, so I skipped the entree and just had appetizers recently on the Ovation. Probably should have done that on previous occasions when I was full before the entree even got there.
  12. I know in the past when I have boarded, they have areas cordoned off for arrival/check in times, and they have checked. @Ferry_Watchermight be able to assist with your question. You can also all go later, after the mad rush, and have a better chance of boarding together. Itā€™s a nightmare early, especially with 2 ships boarding.
  13. If you live on east coast and can drive to Seattle in 17hrs, I want to know what kind of car you have šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  14. My daughters and grandkids did this cruise the week of New Years. We had the same experience at port (I have done LB a few times also), plus it was raining. Porters kept going up to cars pulling up, rather than getting luggage from the long line of people. I had never seen anything like it, and I have sailed from many ports, including international ones. I agree with Mazatlan. I had been there a few times, so we just got off ship and had a few beers, and shopped around courtyard for souvenirs. Thanks for the great review.
  15. I was here on RCI Ovation, the end of March. I donā€™t ever get massages, but for $15USD for 30 mins, I couldnā€™t resist. It was a pretty fine massage, although there were a couple of spots I had to tell her to be a bit more gentle. šŸ˜¬
  16. I just got off the Ovation on May 19th, and of the 5 legs, only the pay versions could be booked ahead of time. Free times could only be booked once onboard. I guess the pay ones could be sold out ahead of time. I never really checked.
  17. Since you mentioned Vancouver, I assume you are cruising to Alaska. Iā€™m not sure if the ships out of Vancouver are the same dining times as ships out of Seattle, but I was on the recent sailing, May 11-19 on Ovation. I checked my photos of Compass, and early traditional was 5, late was 7:30, and MTD was 6:15. There are later shows, so the late seating diners donā€™t miss them.
  18. My friends are on Long Island, and they are driving to Bayonne for the Greenland cruise. They found it was cheaper to get the stay and park package at a hotel.
  19. Check everything with pockets, if you havenā€™t already.
  20. @poocheris correct. They normally will show up the 1st of month prior to your cruise month. However, that being said, I would start looking daily, a week prior. My daughter and I are stalking her reservations on her Wonder cruise July 2. Depending on when your cruise is, donā€™t wait until 45 days, if your cruise is at the end of the month. It could be closer to 60 days. PSā€¦the cruise is quite a ways away, so anything could change between now and then. Check back next summer. šŸ˜‰
  21. Just got off Ovation last Friday (5/19) after 5 legs and 54 nights. I didnā€™t get anything on any of the legs.
  22. Starwater in Two70 should be the only reservation show, and will probably open on June 1, but I would start checking daily. Free IFly and Northstar arenā€™t available until boarding. If you want the pay versions, if they arenā€™t open now, again, check June 1.
  23. I should have been clearerā€¦I meant to say to stay up until midnight when it opens at 45 days. My brain knows what I mean šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
  24. Or you could wake up or stay up until midnight from where ship is leaving from and pick an early arrival time. Lots of folks do that.
  25. And your reasons are exactly why I choose late arrival times now. Even with early hotel check out times, I can still find ways to kill time before I arrive. While others like to arrive early, many of us like to arrive when cabins are ready, and avoid the initial crowd.
