  1. The majority of the ports do not have the infrastructures to support the scooter.
  2. I prefer the Horizon as well. The Teppenyaki is amazing and missed it on Vista.
  3. It doesn't matter, Carnival was giving deposits back due to the shutdown. Even if it was non-refundable. Yes, there needed to be faster options to receive the refund, but when there were millions of people affected, it isn't as easy as it would seem.
  4. Because you didn't wait for them to refund your money, you filed a claim. Now you screwed yourself.
  5. Carnival generally starts releasing new dates(1-2 ships at a time) starting in October. Of course, they can always release sooner or later, but this cycle seemed to take forever to release everything
  6. They don't allow Drs notes because it is so simple to fake. Hell, I can even get a legit one in less time than it would take to get a fake one.
  7. They say that to be safe. 20 minutes isn't that big of a deal, but I would still do self-assist to be safe.
  8. You have to sign the receipt saying you had the meal and then they do have a line for an additional gratuity if you wish to add more.
  9. Might have to go to the casino desk. On Panorama, it was on the next morning.
  10. That is the issue with booking with a TA. They "own" your booking and everything has to go through them.
  11. Just don't put your bags out and they will call you by muster station.
  12. I've made that flight many times. That being said, any delays can turn it into a very stressful day. Definitely take your own luggage off. Last cpl cruses we didn't and they didn't even start calling luggage tags until 10. I think they are trying to push more people into self assist.
  13. I agree with having PV last. I'd prefer them to even do the occasional 2 days in Cabo, one in PV like there used to be when Mazatlan wasn't on the itinerary.
  14. Kind of my point that the depths can change that fast.
  15. Exactly. We were snorkeling in Grand Cayman and we were in about 15-20 ft of water, the guide said the dark area which was easily within swimming distance is where it dropped to 3000 ft.
  16. I've had both extremes. On Mardi Gras, we complained to the Maitre'D because the food was inedible for my entire group(14 people), but on the next cruise on Miracle the food was amazing.
  17. The TAs giving you an OBC are usually giving you a cut of their commission. The ones I've found giving OBC are usually more expensive than what I can find on my own.
  18. New ships always get buzz when they are about to sail and through their first sailing. Luminosa seems to be a dud, so its not all roses on the Costa by Carnival side
  19. Sonar probably hit a fish, whale, or something so it appeared shallower than it really is. That being said, I've seen plenty of spots where a shelf causes it to go from 200-5000 ft in 20 ft.
  20. I wonder when they changed that? I know it was still there on Panorama in January because we found out it was only 46 degrees on deck the night we left Cabo San Lucas to head back to Long Beach.🥶
  21. Generally, Carnival starts releasing dates in October and then slowly releases them until all are done. I think they just barely finished releasing through the end of 2024 to April 2025. In fact, they might not be done yet.
  22. Normally it will tell you how long when you place the order. At least that was my experience on Vista and Panorama.
