we don't tip housekeeping in hotels for single night stays - and we don't request anything extra, maybe towels.
we don't tip in the mdr - again nothing extra, unless a baked potato with extra butter is a special request.
I tipped $33 last night on a $137 bill for an hour and a half dinner.
we tip room service a couple of bucks
we tip at Vines - we spend a lot of time there - sometimes too much maybe
NEVER removed autotips -
we tipped $10 for a $60 order of firewood delivered to our house.
we have a 'special' bag for our room steward upon arrival - call it what you want - and a special envelope sometimes at the end. we have also handed out small bags with candies, etc to people on the ship, just because... she enjoys putting them together and handing them out, that's what is important. any gifts/bags are in addition to auto tips and other.
we ate at The Melting Pot (Fondue place) last night. 3 people, 4 courses each, 2 cokes, 2 glasses of house cabernet for me. $137 plus tip, Jumbo King Crab legs for Christmas, $65 per pound.
It's expensive for CG - but not overly expensive.
"IF" Traditional Dining returns ... and you book it ...
you are prohibited from using the anytime dining room for the cruise.
a "Strict" dress code will be enforced, for the 'enjoyment' of others as to not offend them.
go for it - just not for us
our supplemental (aarp - united healthcare) covered my medical expenses ($1,200) (non-covid) on REGAL in Grand Turk. our AON covered the deductibles for follow-ups when we got back home
are you the Roll Tide or Rocky Top?
yeah, just ignore the boarding window and show up - without any status (new to Princess) - lots of cruisers will board before you can.
hopefully a direct flight ... SW is having major problems to say the least - reading stories about people spending 5 days before being able to rebook - and if changing airlines crazy expensive, if available at all. guess it depends on airport and destination.
not yet ... I was 'gifted' this bottle in 1993 ... it has 'survived' , a couple of college graduations, a wedding, grandchildren births ... 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 47th anniversaries
mine was bottled in 1991, not 1992 - and my box has leather straps - never opened, in pristine condition.
