My 2 cents. I had an aft balcony some time ago on the Epic (2012 or 2013) it was a great cruise, but my chief complaint as well as others who had an aft balcony was the soot that settled on the balcony daily. Almost like it was some sort of design flaw the way the soot would collect back there, I don't know if it's still a thing as the ship has had a dry dock since.

In many major cities you can get them the same day. In NYC for example a specific P.O. on Manhattan you go in the A.M. then come back a few hours later to pick it up.

If you are going on a cruise to Antarctica, it is not your first cruise, if it is not your first cruise you know the captain can change the itinerary at any time. I bring and use a sextant with me, over the past few cruises I've gotten better and better at correctly plotting our location. It's becoming a lost art in modern times, and only seems to attract the attention of older gentlemen who served in a navy at a time when it was wooden ships and iron men (as opposed to today which is iron ships and wooden men.)

A Carnival cruise with Spring Breakers + all the extra small children because of Easter recess 😯 I wouldn't take that cruise if someone else paid for it.
