Actually, I think @JimmyVWine said they also had the option for the specialty desserts with the "Old Plus". Regardless, we have no interest in those a they are unappealing (at least to us).

Hi @memoak I appreciate your comments as always. You keep watch over my city of 30 years! I will ask DH if we have been charged yet and then say we will pick up at the port, which I really do not mind. Our TA is that big box store and we are not assigned one certain agent, and she was as frustrated as me.

We sail on the Sky in a few weeks and DH ordered our Medallions. We booked with the Plus package in July of 2021. So, Princess has had our money/ deposit for nearly two years. DH said they were charging him $10.00 in shipping and I said that should not be. I checked in with our Roll Call and members said that had similar issues and that they called their TA and/or Princess and they would be reimbursed. FYI- it is on a Princess website that you will NOT be charged for the Medallion shipping IF you have purchased the Plus or Premium package. It is #39. https://www.princess.com/cruise-deals-promotions/plus-premier-cruise-packages/ I also know via the posts by our own @JimmyVWine that when onboard, the "old Plus" is honored the same way as the "New Plus". The dealings with Princess were as follows: In addressing the $10.00 charge for mailing the medallions to us, I called our TA. You will LOVE the response(s). The first response that they will give the fee back when on the ship. I asked how. So, his new response (Mario) is: The second response is ............ wait for it...................... wait for it..................... "You have the "Old Princess Plus" and therefore do not qualify to have the medallions mailed to you free of charge." I told our TA that our "Old" Princess Plus is being treated just like the new one when onboard and I know that for a fact. Our TA told him this. His response was that, NO! We will have the limits of the "Old" one when onboard. Thank you all for "listening".

True, there is nothing as comforting and lovely as a real as a paper book! However, when traveling, I give in to the digital age with my Kindle Fire.😳

Please be aware that flight fares are typically not available until about 300 days before the requested date. When it begins getting close, I keep checking EZAir for availability. The KEY is to book right away when you find what is acceptable. Then you keep checking in and see if there has been a price drop, because you can change your flights until 45 days out. But prices usually increase as it gets close to true ticketing and then you are committed. We have found EZAir fares to be much cheaper than direct with the airlines EXCEPT for domestic flights.

Maybe NCL gets to dock in Dublin and not Dun Laoghaire. Princess does not. We were there last May and I do remember that Dublin HOHO buses are in Dublin and not Dun Laoghaire which is a 20 minute train ride from the port.

It was super easy buying them at the station. There are staff there to help; very friendly! You never know how the tendering process will go.

There are no HOHO buses when you get off of the tender boat. We took the tender to the dock and purchased train tickets into town. Many passengers did this. There are HOHO buses once you get into town. We got off of the train close to Trinity College and walked there. It really was not far at all from the train stop. The train was very pleasant and we met a local who filled us in on the details for our stops.

IMHO, you and daughters will have a great time! We have taken our daughters on Celebrity to Alaska (they were 17 and 14). We also took them on HAL for the Mexican Riviera (they were 24 and 27). Never, were they bored and these two lines (IMHO) did not have near the activities that Princess does. May should be a lovely time.

We were on the Grand last September and there were a few books in where they stored the games. It is NOT like in the past when I knew I could count on grabbing something good to read. Now, I just add a few to my Kindle before we leave for our trip.

@Coral We also did the same tour as you in Sitka, through a private vendor and loved it. It may or may not have been the same company but is was a van like yours. Enjoy fabulous Hubbard Glacier! It is our favorite.
