I think that this would be a very valuable education for all of the cruise line pages. @Host Bonjour keeps a steady eye here and maybe has some thoughts regarding that possibility and the form it may take.

Welcome to Cruise Critic! You would be better off finding out from your cruise line/ ship what their expectations and schedule is. I am unclear how this pertains to a transfer from the port to the airport.

We sailed on the Sky last June. Once in a while they had shrimp in the buffet. There is no problem finding "meat and taters" in the buffet or any food venue on the ship.

We learned very quickly that we did NOT care for the provided products. The scent and quality, or lack thereof, is horrid. We bring our own as others have stated, just purchasing the small containers and putting them in your ziplocs. There are also many good shampoo soap bars. I get mine from a friend who makes her own soap.

I would assume so. I am not familiar with that ship and am unable to find a photo that would be telling.

That is very impressive (and kind of you), considering Australia is a non- gratuity culture. I have read so many compliments about the UBD.

Spring break in Oregon begins on Saturday, March 23rd. Depending on when the 10 days fall, conceivably, it could work out with 2 full weekends (4 days) and the 5 weekdays. Close......

The ship does not determine whether there will be children or not. It is the time of year, length of the cruise and destination. I would vote for the Enchanted.

DH and I are true aft fans and book the cabins with the larger balconies and some overhead coverage.....THE BEST! Of course, that is our little secret. 🤨

As an American, DH and I draw the line at Starbucks, fast food and the like. I have to admit that I was very surprised when it began showing up when paying with a debit or credit card. AND... most consumers are unaware that adding a gratuity in this way, adds to what the business will pay in these card fees, so it costs the business to do this. The business, not the bank, has to pay for YOUR airline miles, cash back, and other "rewards".

Another way to obtain the preferences of the OP is to show up in the dining room at the desired time and say that they wish to share a table. Of course, these table mates would change each evening, but not necessarily.

@Rick&Jeannie This is a really good point regarding the length of the cruise. Personally, we would not do this itinerary in August... way too hot!!! I understand that this an anniversary celebration, but no way for us. We cruised the Mediterranean in October 2018, and was even quite warm. We loved the Sky when we sailed on her last June.

I am glad that there are other guests like you... more afts available for us.We never gain weight on a cruise because we book aft.
