  1. I was going to ask about the wipe out cafe, but I see it may be Mexican.
  2. I think it is where they have couples compete in games such as (and I will try to clean this up so I don’t get banned) nut to butt balloon pop.
  3. When are you sailing? You can usually get the key for $21.99pp on Black Friday.
  4. How long before a cruise do entertainment reservations show up? I am still seeing they are working on it and to check back closer to sail date. TIA.
  5. Always love a Saint Greg review. Am interested to see your comparisons between them and Carnival. Been thinking of changing over myself.
  6. I once worked in a hotel and the guest was very adamant that the housekeeper stole her necklace. She was screaming and going on and on in front of other guests. We had her call the police to file a report. I get a call about 2 months later saying she found it in another bag that she did not even bring with her. Not saying this is the case, but this woman insisted she had the necklace with her on the trip. I am hoping there is the same outcome here. I often think I put things in my bag and when I get to the hotel or ship, turns out I left it at home.
  7. I don’t see where you got an obstructed view. From what I understand, obstructed view means there is a lifeboat in the direct view of you seeing the water. You can stand on the balcony and see perfectly fine. Honestly, I have to agree with AtlantaCruiser and I don’t feel you are owed any compensation. Sorry.
  8. Slightly off topic, but not really. Traveling with 4 to a cabin. Can only 1 person upgrade to premier or does everyone have to?
  9. What about Royal Caribbean? No mention of the cruise line in any of the ship names.
  10. How many days from the cruise did you find out your bid was accepted?
  11. I would like to know the answer to this as well. Appreciate any info anyone can provide.
  12. Is this a guess, rumor, wishful thinking, or do you know this for sure?
  13. Debating whether or not I want to go to this restaurant. My travel partner i can take it or leave it. For those that have been on both Carnival and Princess, is it comparable to Cucina Del Capital? I am not especially fond of Cucina, so if they are the same, I have my answer. Any insight is most appreciated. Thanks.
  14. When you check-in, it will ask who is authorized to use a credit card for on-board purchases. You can enter one credit card for you and your wife, and another for your son and his wife.
  15. Because some people don’t understand the concept of not putting the lip of the refillable bottle on the spigot that dispenses the water. Also, some people pi]it the spigot all the way inside the bottle and fill it up so that the water level is so high it covers the spigot.
  16. Reading what @MrMarc said makes sense in that the appellate court feel this should be decided by a jury. The contract the parents have with the lawyer may very well state that they don’t have to pay if the matter goes to court (meaning being heard by a jury); however, if it gets dismissed before going to trial, they would have to pay. This may be why the parents continue to pursue. Also, even though they don’t win, they could still be forced to pay fees (court filing fees, expert witness fees, etc.). Just curious if the parents will go after the lawyers for legal malpractice if they lose the case. They can always say they were convinced the case had merit and were forced to keep going. Mom is a lawyer, so anything is possible.
  17. Okay, my computer crashed so I don’t know what is going to happen with my reply. You can add a credit card at anytime — On-line check in, check in at port, or on board at guest services or the kiosk. They will take the money from the gift card or any other on board credit first and then move on to credit card.
  18. It is exactly as you stated above. When you arrive at the pier, you can give gift cards instead of cash. You can put as much in gift cards as you want. If you find you are running low on funds, you can always add more at Guest Services or one of the kiosks on board.
  19. Just curious what those that were speaking of security expected them to do. Not for nothing, but they would have been beaten to a pulp, if not worse. There was no way to control that crowd, short of pepper spray or a taser, which they are not allowed to carry. If they had stepped in, the crowd would have definitely turned on them. Sad that security on a cruise ship has to wear body cameras and have to deal with nonsense like this.
  20. Can junior suites use the lounge, or is it for full suites?
  21. When we went, we rented one of the beds. I am not a fan of the sun, and it was perfect. We could relax on the bed in the shade, got up and walked to eat and shop, back to the bed for a nap. it was definitely a perfect day at coco cay for us!
