  1. Just clicked the link above and got this! 2025 It looks really interesting!
  2. Perks have not been added or changed for Signature Suites that I am aware of. (My only HAL suite experience pre and post shutdown) I've not sailed on Princess so no help there! I'm sure there are many CCers that have Princess experience that will be along soon to help! ~Nancy
  3. From the HAL website, this is easier to read!! -> Suites & Staterooms (hollandamerica.com)
  4. Does Tastes actually have a limit on visits (other than availability)? I don't think it has a limit like the other two. ~Nancy
  5. That is something I noted on the Nieuw Amsterdam in September and October 2022. I was sitting in the Ocean Bar on a quiet afternoon, for example, and heard the staff laughing and singing amongst themselves in the back room. I was so pleased to hear what was apparently a very happy crew! Service was great! ~Nancy
  6. That's the cruise I met you and Mr. Bear on! It's about time you are getting your sea legs back. Have a wonderful time and soak up the sun and sea! ~Nancy
  7. Look what I found in the bottom drawer of my guest bathroom vanity! I have no idea why it was there with the Christmas Guest Towels but it's a nice pen and brings back the memories for sure. 🙂
  8. Hello @Linycruise! I think you may have to concoct your own version of some kind of fruit punch. Get juice and add some type of other drink like 7up maybe? Or make an Arnold Palmer, 1/2 iced tea and 1/2 lemonade. I've been to Hercules many times when I worked in Richmond and lived in Pinole briefly! Have a good trip! ~Nancy
  9. This is the first I have heard about this hybrid type show, "Roadhouse". I love the idea and am glad HAL is trying to improve the offerings! Thanks for telling us about it. I'm looking forward to the Zuiderdam next May and hope to see some new types of shows. ~Nancy
  10. 😁 I am not a morning person at all so I order by phone from Room Service.....they serve breakfast food until 11:00am!!! 😁 ~Nancy
  11. If you eat in the MDR you can still order the Club Orange Entree if you want. Just make sure your waiter gives you the menu with it listed. ~Nancy
  12. We did have to go to facial recognition last November returning to pier 26, but that's it. Fast! ~Nancy
  13. Corner aft are Neptune Suites however. V4178 and V4183 are veranda cabins.
  14. Sounds like you may want to think about some extra shore excursions, spa treatments, specialty dinners, premium spirits or wine, flowers, or shop purchases! Not a bad situation to be in! Have a fun trip! ~Nancy
  15. You can eat in any venue you want! CO dining room, MDR, Lido, Pizza place, Rudy's, Pinnacle Grill, Tamarind, Canaletto, Dive In, or Room service! Signing up for fixed dining in the MDR defeats the purpose of buying Club Orange on a Pinnacle ship in my opinion! The big draw for most is that you can eat in the much quieter and more personal service CO dining room on the Nieuw Statendam! I've read that sometimes people share tables at CO but I haven't experienced it myself since I didn't have CO on Rotterdam. Has anyone here on CC shared a table at CO? Added: If you do go for the fixed MDR dining and decide to eat elsewhere on any night, please let your waiter/table mates know you won't show up so they don't wait for you. If no one shows up to the table that day, they can give it to an anytime diner. ~Nancy
  16. Thanks for keeping us all up to date Mary Ann! After my last Rotterdam cruise a year ago I realized that I will always need to order "extra meat" on the room service sandwiches. They were good tasting but just too skimpy on the meat to bread ratio for me!! I'm very happy to hear that the meal quality has improved since you were on the World Cruise. It sounds like HAL is listening to their guests and making the effort to improve. Keep it up HAL!! ~Nancy
  17. ??? Looks like a great cabin to me!! V5113 for an extra $27 pp per day sounds great to me for this midship cabin. For two friends in a room the extra veranda space will be welcome, I'm sure! Have a wonderful first cruise and I hope the scuba diving is good too! ~Nancy
  18. Both are usually available. The pop-top 12oz cans are included in the beverage packages. The screw top can isn't included 😠
  19. The other non-pinnacle ships no longer offer Rudy's pop ups. (since October 2022) ~Nancy
  20. See @POA1 post #6. (Below). It's for open seating on the ships without a Club Orange Dining room. On those ships the Club Orange people sit in the MDR.
  21. The OP is on Eurodam which does not have a separate Club Orange dining room. Neptune Suites have breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill and dinner in the MDR. ~Nancy
  22. In post #4 the captain's letter says they will still be transiting the locks but no shore excursions will be offered from there. ~Nancy
