  1. I would always choose the smaller ship that doesn’t have a class distinction
  2. That is what I drink on ship fits on the plus package
  3. We haven’t taken a 7 day cruise that was not part of a back to back in years. Counting them as one cruise our booked cruises are 16, 14, 15 and 20 days. We recently did a 10 day Mexico just to get away
  4. But if they honor a few days then someone will want a few weeks and then a few weeks. The ugly spiral
  5. At your own risk. Sit down at a table and order 4 drinks they will ask for 4 packages. Unless they drink a lot of sodas or coffees just pay as you go
  6. Will do. Pre dinner Manhattan or 3 coming up in 6 days
  7. My dietary goal is to keep my ankles from swelling so the unsalted butter really helps. There is so much salt in some dishes that I have to watch out
  8. Nice tag team work I got hung up printing luggage tags for next weekend cruise
  9. Once or twice a cruise that happens and then we just share one plate at Vines
  10. It took me literally 30 seconds to go to personalized ding where it tells me to put food issues on the app
  11. But then do they not pay crew appreciation. I cannot believe any young person could live without 1 or 2 devices needing WiFi
  12. It’s not the variety but the quality. Also never knowing who has picked things up and put them back. I might do buffet once in awhile for lunch but for dinner I want 3 courses plated at a decent temperature. After all at home I would never go to Golden Corral
  13. That would not be over the top. They never book every table. If you are in a full suite you will eat for free in a specialty restaurant just ask the concierge or call the dine line. It is a guaranteed perk. For other nights the concierge can help you or what we do is talk to the manager at Sabatini’s breakfast and they can usually get us reservations especially since we like to eat after 7:30 None of these things would call for extra tips in my opinion they are perks. If you ask them to arrange large cocktail parties etc that would be something different
  14. Sometimes the battery starts to get weak after 15+ days
  15. Sorry the days of tuxes and suits are over. I no longer own a tie and no longer bring slacks, sports coat or long sleeve shirts on a cruise. I wear jeans or crew pants with short sleeve shirts. I have never seen a buffet where the food is better than the MDR on any of my 60 cruises
  16. My wife is deathly allergic to sea going white fish and peanuts That doesn’t keep us from sailing. We just ask a lot of questions when ordering because you just don’t know what a chef has used. We don’t feel any need to pester the cruise line in advance or to order dinner a day in advance. We have been cruising since 1990 and there have always been options that can be arranged on ship. I get really tired of people who want to create their own menus, create drinks that are not on any menu, insist that they are being shortchanged because there no bar snacks they like etc. Oh and my favorite “I want chocolates on my pillow every night “. I guess they should just start their own cruise line Yes I know I am going to get flamed
  17. We recycle them along with all other batteries

    NUTS!

I don’t think you understand the post It is not the nuts it is the people who are nuts. Everyone want everything just the way they personally want things without thoughts of others. Things change be flexible
  19. Just the opposite. Love Sabatini’s and always eat there embarkation night. Never eat a main just app, pasta and dessert plenty of food and delicious
  20. The key to cruising is being flexible. Just my opinion
  21. We live in Oregon and take the train. Easy 2 day trip in comfort
  22. That is the way it has been for a long time. Things change day to day it is not a big deal

    NUTS!

It’s not the food nuts that are the problem it is the people nuts that are the issue

    NUTS!

Yes they did my wife was born in 1952 and her allergy was discovered when she was about 4. Some may have thought that it was minor because it felt like a cold or asthma. Others started getting rashes and trouble breathing
