  1. @B17 Have you tried clicking on Manage my Reservation and then clicking the paper and pencil icon next to Excursions? Ours are listed there with prices and times even though it says Excursions coming soon.
  2. Stayed here twice (pre covid ) and also the sister hotel Canal Grande which was a bit harder to find in the dark! Both hotels had helpful staff recommending evening eateries and excellent service from them all. We walked from the bus station with luggage, we’ve had easier walks but it’s doable. Would happily return.
  3. I would tend to agree with @Jay19 , a quick tally of our attendance at Azamara evenings is 8 out of 18 and of those 2 were on board. When most people were off the ship we enjoyed a very leisurely evening onboard and didn't feel we were missing out. We have chosen according to our tastes and if we felt it really was a one off event , a never to be repeated experience, we would go. Choir and concert at Ephesus , Cellist in Dubrovnik, dance show in Havana prime examples Since the C word perhaps some of the ports dont have the infrastructure to lay on these events nowadays. Perhaps the evening is more manageable if they bring entertainment onboard and they can control health and safety requirements and food quality for guests . If there are evenings off ship we will still choose to our tastes.
  4. We had a very enjoyable meal and chat with you when sat next to you in Prime C on Onward 29/4 Rome to Venice last year!
  5. Ours is in June and although mine also says coming soon, when I click on Manage my Reservation, and scroll down to excursions (click on the pencil and paper icon ) many are already listed with times and prices . You may be lucky.
  6. Met Grace in January 2022 on her first contract as one of the singers with Martin Lawson also. They both made a great impression and its wonderful to see them both come through the system and be Cruise Directors. 👏👏
  7. As Grandma has said. Go through a mock booking. When you havechosen a category, and a cabin number appears, click on the pen and pencil, then click choose cabin. Then Filters. Click on Cabin Attributes. A long list will appear. I usually click on a location . ie, Aft, Midship or Forward. Click Select and then Apply. If there are cabins available in your chosen categories they will be listed. Sadly it’s no where near as simple as it used to be 😢, but it is doable.
  8. We visited here on Saturday. We pre booked for 10.30am but due to some change of plans at home we arrived at 9.30 and asked if we could enter early. There was quite a queue as it was the first time slot of the day but the nice lady said come back at 10am and you'll be fine, which we did. I think you’ll find they are pretty flexible if they can be. They like to stagger the entry to prevent bottle necks. You start with war rooms using the included audio guide. Once you get to the museum part you can wander around in any direction and then you continue through the rest of the war rooms. Cafe is about 3/4 of the way around. We stopped there just after 2 1/4 hours in. After tea and cake we had to rush the last 1/4 as we had to get our train. I think without the rush to get home our total time there including tea and cake would have been 3 hours.
  9. Yes the tender and ferries go from the same area. It takes approx. 10 minutes once you on tender. T for tender F for Ferry. If you haven’t pre purchased and you need to purchase ferry ticket on the day ,you can do so at the kiosk marked red circle.
  10. Midway through the cruise you will receive information re transfers to airport or Tronchetto plus other alternatives and you can use obc to pay for this. You can also arrange private transfer with many of the online car services.
  11. Same here, I was unable to purchase from Matthew on Quest in October. We’ve used these numerous times in the past but apparently we were in the minority 🤷🏼‍♀️ . I’ll be miffed if we missed out and they still available .
  12. This was last year. It’s unlikely to be any cheaper!
  13. Something going on for sure ! The four cruises on Quest after yours are all showing as ‘Pricing Unvailable’ . Obviously a massive change of ports coming up.
  14. What ship was sailing on 14th September? It looks like all four ships are in and around the Mediterranean in September 2025. . Not quite sure how this cruise cancellation is connected to a Canada and New England Itinerary?
  15. Ok this is my last post on this particular subject, having tried at least to let people know that there may be availability to book tables throughout the cruise. This was our first Continental Suite and as is widely publicised, the Speciality dining is complementary for the cabin for the whole cruise. We had every intention of attending each evening, however a few excellent evening menus caught our attention in Discoveries and we cancelled and someone else picked up our table. We never set out to book ‘just in case’. When and if Azamara change the parameters we will deal with it .
  16. Because the Discoveries Menus were not available on the TV screen prior to booking the Speciality and the Patio evening we changed to was weather dependent . My initial comment was to highlight that people change plans for whatever reason so there may be choices of dates and times that become available during the cruise.
  17. There is often a lot of movement with the bookings and you can sometimes pick up a booking on the day. Last year on our 11 nighter in a Continental Suite we booked all 11 nights on embarkation, alternating between the two Speciality restaurants. By the time we left, we had cancelled 5 of those ( giving plenty of notice) and dined in a selection of Discoveries, Windows and Patio. We enjoyed the mixing of the other venues as the two Speciality restaurants can get a little repetitive.
  18. There were several in 2022 and we did a great 11 nighter round trip from Las Palmas back in January 22 but in 2024 and 2025 the ships will have travelled from South Africa and they wont be doing a Canaries round trip, just visiting a few islands en route to Lisbon.
  19. If you search on the Azamara website for March 2024 and 2025 you will see one each year, both starting in las Palmas and ending in Lisbon.
  20. Look for this line across the dividing wall. We’ve had a connecting cabin before and it’s never been a problem.
  21. It will often depend where you are embarking. This was ours for Chioggia (Venice ) in October. These details were in our Guest Ticket Booklet that we received 3 weeks before the cruise date.
  22. https://www.azamara.com/gb/booked-guests/before-you-board/online-checkin This is the latest information re boarding, all available on the web site. In the next 11 months it could easily change so check back nearer your sail date.
