  1. What you paid for it, and what you see on the airfare websites has nothing to do with the price NCL paid for it. They typically get greatly discounted consolidator fares. Given the city pair, I would say its a pretty good chance you will fly non-stop.
  2. Discussed on the West Coast Departures board (Seattle is not in Alaska) almost daily. 11:30 is the earliest recommended flight. Travel time to the airport is a solid 30 minutes, but Seattle isn't the fastest airport for security, check in and getting to your gate. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/315-west-coast-departures/
  3. Do you have experience with either? Their product will be the same on a Hawaii as on their other cruises. Princess is known for some of their Hawaiian cultural entertainment.
  4. Per Cruise Critic rules, we aren't supposed to recommend something we haven't used.
  5. But Happy Hour isn't 2 for 1 any more, right? Or are non-alcoholic beverages 2 for 1?
  6. I don't think they said it's quite high chance of getting Covid through contaminated food.
  7. Been there in December, March and April. None were "too chilly", but that is subjective. December was coolest, but we still swam. March and April are no problem at all.
  8. I have heard of some Tamarind items on the menus, but no "pop up". As we love Tamarind, and our next two cruises are on Zaandam...I they do something.
  9. Then of course, there is the whole question of available seats on those "tons of flights".
  10. There will probably (but not guaranteeing it) be a couple local vendors at most ports.
  11. I don't think any science would back that "quite high" statement.
  12. Elemis is still the fleetwide product, including conditioner.
  13. The far better places for Vancouver info is the Canada board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/23-canada-alaskapacific-coastal/ And the West Coast Departures board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/315-west-coast-departures/ Hundreds, if not thousands, of related discussions there.
  14. If you look around this board for a minute or two, you will see many references to www.sunny.org, which is a website listing every hotel in Ft Lauderdale, with their amenities, such as shuttles.
  15. Is this a day stop for the ship, or disembarking day? Is this a private tour just for you, or for others not known to you in the party? If private, you OWN the tour...they will wait. If a port stop, not disembarking day, I would say no problem.
  16. I would say if you are booked in the absolute lowest category, you have the best chance for upgrade. People seem to spend a lot of time trying to predict these things on very little evidence. Yes, "full" is not supportive of an upgrade, but if you don't know the number of guarantee bookings, what category they are in, (we don't know) what category you are in, etc. There is a tremendous number of things crew sales departments do to get a ship to "full" status.
  17. The title of the thread indicates January.
  18. Plus, in my experience, there can be a solution no one here is wise enough to know, and it may be satisfying to everyone. Who knows? Nothing lost by a meeting. Possibly a lot to gain.
  19. There are many discussions on the topic. If you bring a "reasonable " amount of wine on board, you will be charged $20 per bottle corkage.
  20. @PacnGoNow hit the nail on the head. Taxi or Uber is a very viable option, and in most, but not all cases, will be cheaper and direct transport, where the shuttle might stop at several terminals.
  21. Given you don't have any tight deadlines, just have your pickup at 7, maybe 7:30. I would be looking at the websites for the various locations and confirm what time they open. In January, the tourism isn't going to be as crazy as summer time, so I think you need to be informed as to any decreased access or operating hours for some of your sights.
  22. Same here...never needed it...San Diego and Copenhagen.
