Thanks again for a great review! I’m glad you got home safely after your very long day. Days like that used to be no problem for me. Now as I get older I find that they’re not such a good idea any more. I love your cat in her fancy cat house! We have two cats, too, who hate it when we go away. Ours don’t have a fancy cat house like yours does. They have to make do with cardboard boxes! 😂😻 They’re both rescues so we don’t know their actual ages but their vet’s estimate is that they’re both around 11 or 12. They wanted to pop in and say hi so here they are.

I’ve always had Norway on my list of places I’d like to visit, but it has now moved way up on my list! I hope the rest of your journey has gone well and that you’re now safely back home in CT, our former home.

If I ever manage to get to Norway, and I certainly hope I do, the Loen Skylift will most definitely be on my to do list. I doubt I’ll be able to manage the hiking part at this point in my life, but a much younger me would have been right there with you doing that hike. Now, not such a good idea, but I really enjoyed your pictures! Thank you for sharing them.

Thanks for the picture @firefly333! We’re due for our first crystal block on our next cruise, actually the second leg of our 3/4 B2B on Allure next April. Guess we will be getting the new block based on seeing that’s what you got. If given the choice I would ask for the old style, but never expected I’d get a choice. The old style would have fit in perfectly with some other crystal items I already own, but I’ll take whatever one they give me! I plan to speak with the LA on leg 1 of the B2B to be sure they know we’re due for our first block and will happily take it home with us. 😀🛳️😎

That night snorkel with the Manta Rays is on my bucket list! Unfortunately my DH, despite his many other positive qualities, does not share my passion for wildlife adventures so I have to fit them in when and where I can. Meanwhile, I’ve certainly enjoyed your review and pictures.

@twangster, I finally managed to put life’s responsibilities aside for long enough to get back here and finish reading this awesome review! Thank you very much for doing it. Your pictures, as always, were wonderful and thanks to you I finally managed to learn to use some of the features on my iPhone camera! My photography skills, while improved are still nowhere close to yours though! Now if you want to talk about horizons that aren’t perfectly straight I’d win that award for sure. I don’t like my crooked horizons any more than you like yours. I think they mean that I’m more than slightly off kilter myself since I know that the horizon is not! 😂 I really do need to prioritize putting a Panama Canal cruise on our itinerary. I know we’re going to love it when we finally get to go. Thank you also @little britain for your contributions on this thread! I always enjoy seeing the same cruise from two different points of view. I fell behind over this past weekend and have just finished catching up now. I’m exhausted trying to keep up with you and all that you were able to do in such a relatively short period of time! @The Fun Researcher, I’ve told my DH about your Mom and her injury. I know you have plenty to deal with right now so as much as I want to, I won’t pester you for updates. I just want to let you know that DH and I are both keeping your Mom, you, and the rest of your family in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate your way through her recovery and what your decisions regarding your cruise will be.
