  1. On our recent cruise during the conservative cruiser meeting someone asked about the Concierge Lunch. They were told it is no longer available except for Concierge passengers. We were in a suite so it didn’t matter to us. If not we would have gone to the buffet. More choices and since we were B2B we would have been among the first to in there. The Concierge Linch menu is very limited and service can be very slow. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  2. They increased the gratuities for the retreat cabins and cut the services. Gratuities were included along with some OBC in the price of a suite. It has been eliminated for all new bookings. It was the little things like a glass of bubbly, and a rose for the women when you embarked that made Celebrity special and above the rest of the mass cruise lines. No longer. X has lost its luster and class. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  3. So what! Whoever she is. Should we ring her door bell and run? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ What is the purpose of the post? Invading her privacy and how did anyone know?
  4. On our recent B2B cruise there were less than 100 passengers. I would say about 60 max. Someone asked at the meeting about the consecutive cruise lunch in the dining room. The answer was they no longer do that for consecutive cruisers. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  5. What you say is true but if you read the description given on the Celebrity site it calls the space a veranda. And that is what I was trying to point out. The cabins are still the same size. Smoke and mirrors Edge Stateroom with Infinite Veranda These incredible staterooms take our standard veranda stateroom and, with the touch of a button, blurβ€”even eraseβ€”the boundaries between inside and outside living space. This brilliant innovation gives you luxurious open air access to the sea, whenever you wish. Total living space 243 sq. ft. Veranda 42 sq. ft Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  6. The Retreat lounge will not make the Martinis that are unique to the Martini Bar or those that are unique to the WCB. They may serve beers that are at the Craft Social. It depends on the BT and your relationship. $$$$. πŸ€— Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  7. The buffet on port days for lunch. πŸ€— Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  8. From want I have read the port hole veranda is 202 sq ft with a 40 sq ft veranda. A IV is 243 sq ft with a 42 sq ft veranda. I don’t t know of the total sq ft of the IV includes the veranda. If it does the size of the cabin is the same. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  9. Does Zenith get free room service if not in a suite? We may become Zenith if we live long enough and spent a ton of money. πŸ€—πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜± Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  10. There was a pre cruise special on Deal or No Deal. I bought 3 cards. On board when I went to redeem the cards I didn’t get the free or extra card that is part of the Captain Club benefit. I was told it was because it was a sale and you can only use one promo. It was still a good deal without the extra card. I think it was 3 for $24. Using the Captain Club benefit on board it would have been 3 for $39 plus the extra card, to make it 4 for $39. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  11. I think it is by design to prevent passengers from hanging out. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  12. We use them for shopping bags and also give them to our children that they use for grocery shopping. Not a deal breaker but they do come in handy when on board when going to the top decks to lay out or to the beaches , and excursions in the ports. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  13. We got it in a SS back in Mar. it is more cuts. We got the same bag. It also has that little pouch bag inside The top bag is the most recent. Flimsy material. The one other is from a few cruises ago. More like canvas Also the boxes that had the chocolates. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  14. Why would I want to change my booking? I booked a SS at a good price less $350/day pp and was expecting the same level of service that I had when I booked it. At around the $700/day that we paid the value and experience wasn't there. About 30% of the time in Luminae we ordered from the MDR. The room attendant took the place of the butler and he was overloaded. If you took anything from the fridge you were charged for it. Before you could at least have a soft drink, water, or beer. The nightly chocolate was a joke. On chic nights they use to give a little box with a few pieces of higher quality chocolate, no more. Around 4 pm on embarkation day we decided to find and retrieve our luggage out of the hallway. Others were also looking for theirs. The luggage was staged in the hallway and no one was placing any of it by the proper cabins. As I wrote I will not be booking any more suites when the going price is now over $600/day pp, with no OBC, and gratuities aren’t included, way too much for what is being offered. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  15. Recently got off of a cruise in a SS. The value and expereince is no longer there. We booked that suite because we were in a SS and it was a fantastic experience. The last cruise was a disappointment and it is the first time that we didn’t purchase another future cruise. If we ever decide to book another cruise on X it won’t be in a suite. $600 plus/day pp is way too much for nothing special. It will be a veranda or AQ at the most depending on the cost differnce. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  16. It is a Corner Sunset SS. The outlet is under the desk behind the chair indicated by the red arrow. This is on the Silhouette. There was no outlet box. I doubt you would find the outlet if someone didn’t show you where it was. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  17. Thanks for the info. Does the output supply enough to properly charge Apple products? I have had problems using some of non Apple charging devices. Thanks. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  18. Reread what I wrote. I think it is plain enough. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  19. I was able to log in using google. Chrome and Safari didn’t work. Hope this helps. Happy cruising. πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  20. We were recently in a Corner SS on the Silhouette. We could not find any outlets. The cabin attendant showed us that there was one plug under the desk. There were 2 USB ports in the base of a lamp. There was also an electrical outlet in the bathroom that amazingly didn’t kick out my water pick. It was a challengetrying to charge a IPad, Apple Watch, and IPhone that both of us had. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  21. The benefits state not combinable with a discounted price. I purchased 3 Deal or No Deal cards at a pre cruise discounted price. I did not get the 4 th card as a CC Club benefit because it was a promo. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  22. I use to participate in a Rolex Forum. Everyone always joked about their or someone else’s Invicta collection. I agree with all of the other comments. There may be better watches but at $69 if it is want you like and want go for it. You can’t expect a Patek, Omega, Rolex, Tag, Cartier, Panerai, IWC and etc quality. At $69 it isn’t an investment. It is a man’s jewelry or accessory. If you want or need accurate time use your smart phone. Unless the watch is a quartz. I doubt if you can find a mechanical TAG for that price. I paid $2000 for a SS Link Tag Mechanical Chronograph many years ago Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  23. Not always true. Recently got off of the Silhouette. There was Woodford Double Oak in some bars. The BT said he couldn’t get it. It didn’t have anything about tipping him as I did it often. I think if you are in a Royal Suite or above they may make special accommodations. There was one couple that mentioned to the BT that they were the ones that had some special scotch on another cruise. I asked him about it and he said that when they were in a port that scotch was purchased for them. He didn’t give any further details. They must have been in a cheaper suite as he didn’t give them anything special. We spent a lot of time in the Retreat Lounge and seen them there a few times and they got the scotch off of the rack. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
  24. A few cruises ago my wife ordered a Moscow Mule with Russian Standard. The server said it is a premium vodka and would be a $10 up charge over our premium beverage package. No thanks. Russian Standard is not a premium vodka. Just got off of the Silhouette and Blanton was a $4 up charge over the premium package, Basil Hayden was about a $10 up charge ???? No rhyme or reason in their pricing. Ketel One has now replaced Grey Goose in the Martini Bar for most martinis The photo must be a real premium Vodka that was being sold in a Caribbean port. Notice the price is $55 but it was duty free πŸ˜±πŸ€—. I think it sells at Costco for $19 or $29 at the most. Happy cruising πŸŒŠπŸš’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ…
