Don’t happen. You don’t get any points until the cruise is completed. As others posted it happens to everyone. You aren’t unique. We needed 1 point to reach Elite and didn’t get to Elite until the next cruise. Either try to get the points needed by the power up or take a short cruise prior to. My advice is just wait. I wouldn’t book another cruise for the extra points just to get to Elite as the benefits aren’t as great as you think they are and the money you spend on the extra cruise will be a lot more than what you receive back unless you want a few more days of cruising. The first cruise we had when elite also included all the perks thru a promo. Every cruise since had the drink pack included. We used the laundry a few times but only for stuff we didn’t care about getting ruined. The washing seems to destroy elastic. Rarely go to the elite breakfast because we are always in AQ or go to the main dining room if not. The Spa cafe is also nice. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

There is no crying in baseball. A friend of mine claims that All the Way May, played by Madonna, was his aunt in real life. It s a great movie. When we visited our relatives in Racine I always wanted my dad to drive past the S. C. Johnson building. It was beautiful and I was fascinated by it. . Almond was also my favorite Kringle flavor. I don’t think anyone ever heated or warmed it up. They were kept in the bag at room temp the same as many pastries. I guess heating would be worth trying Happy cruising. 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

A lot of my relatives lived in Racine and Milwaukee WI. One of the staples for breakfast was Kringle. They always had 3 or 4 different varieties stocked in the house. It is a Danish Pastry. One think to remember is if you fall overboard you won’t float like you do in salt water, but you won’t have to worry about any sharks, or gators and the water will be cold until you get to Lake St Clair. Mackinac Island, Horse road apples, flies, and fudge. The worlds longest porch at the Grand Hotel. It cost none guests to walk on. The hotel uses Jamaican Servers that come over for the season. The dining room is served like they use to do on cruise ships. The grand parade bringing in the entrees and deserts. It may have changed but that is how it was when we’re were staying there and that was over 20 years ago. I was looking at some of the highlights and they mention passing under the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit. There are many bridges you will go under, The Mighty Mac, Blue Water and also the new bridge that is being built south of the Ambassador Bridge, it is about 50% complete My grandmother came over on the boat at the turn of the century. No issues. She went across Lake Michigan and got sea sick. Different type of waves. Detroit Sky Line isn’t much to look at. The tallest is the GM Renaissance that was constructed in the 70’s, the Renaissance Center was designed by Architect John C. Portman. Portman is the same architect who designed Atlanta’s Westin Peachtree Plaza and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, which both have a striking resemblance to Detroit’s Renaissance Center. When we go to Canada we never have a problem with people speaking French, even in Quebec. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful. The only time is during the hockey season when things can get little rowdy, EH. And that is mostly from the Boston fans attending the Montreal games. Be sure to take your phone off of roaming. There are places here where I live (south of Detroit) that picks up the feed from a Canada Tower and people get stuck with a very high bill. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You use all of the cards for that game session. Recently they have done 2 games per session. You play both of the games with the same cards. You really don’t have to worry about messing up as they will show who won what. You can also take the cards to the cashier in the casino and they will tell you if you won anything. Thanks for the reply We also us Park N Go. I wish they were at other ports. I asked at few lots about the shuttle frequency and they were all every 1/2 hour . I asked it it was full would there be another and told we would have to wait. I know how that works. Thanks for the reply. I think we will park at the port. Considering the small cost difference and not having to wait for a shuttle, the loading and unloading ir would be worth it, and then adding it all up there is always the tip to and from the lot for the driver. If you raise the prices it has to be better. Some people believe that the more you pay the better the product. There was an old wives tale going around years ago about a pie shop that was selling pies for $5 and was going to close down due to lack of business. Someone told them that the problem was they were charging enough and suggested that they raise the price to $15. The owner said that is crazy we can’t sell them at $5 who will buy them at $15? The customer convinced him to at least try as it couldn’t hurt. He raised the price to $15 and within a few weeks he couldn’t keep up with the demand. At $5 they didn’t think that the pies could be very good but at $15 they had to be. And the higher price made it a special treat for some to splurge on. I have heard it from many first time cruisers that it is a once in a lifetime cruise or vacation and they really splurged on it to make that more special. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Thank you I am weighting the cost difference and maybe congestion driving to that terminal and the convenience if any compared to the offsite lot. The offsite lot has a shuttle that runs every half hour. If you miss it or it is full you have to wait for the next one. But it would eliminate me driving in the traffic congestion next to the port and the line out of the port lot to pay. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Is it a flare rate of $17/day or is it $17 plus other fees and taxes? I was looking at on lot and the rate is $5.95/ day for 4 days. $23.80 plus $16.52 taxes and fees ends up being $39.15. These are the Taxes and fees. Port Access Fee: $7.00City-State Sales Tax: $3.53Service Fee: $5.99 At the port it would be 4 days at $17 for $68 minimum if there aren’t any other hidden fees. HH for the Elite will be order 2 pay for 2, for all others order 2 pay for 3. Ice will cost extra. Eliminate the GR department and replace it with automated phone service. Press 1 for this, 2 for that and etc. enter your birth date, folio number, booking number, address, passport number and etc. keep you on hold for 2 hours or more and then disconnect. Lounge chair rental around the pool area. Those closest to the pool pay more. Charging for seats with 20% gratuity to attend the shows elimination of the welcome back canopy at the ports no flowers on the tables in the dining areas elimination of the embarkation water, coffee, pastries and etc in the retreat check in area charge for all ice cream, and also the pastries at Cafe Al Bacio Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We rarely went to the Martini Bar on the E 9Class ships. We spent more time at the Eden, and on the Beyond the WCB. The set up at the Martini Bar area is OK but we got tired of those Martinis and being able to sit at bar wasn’t the same. There were a few other areas in the bar that we preferred to sit at where we could see the whole area and not have people squeezing between or over us to order a drink. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I doubt if Celebrity will be getting many 10s on our next cruise. I am sure that I will give the staff 10 but not much else. Can’t penalize them for the what they don’t have control of. happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It only affects you when in the cabin.🤗 For whatever reason those ships were designed with the “premium” classes under the pool deck, gym and buffet. The AQ cabins under the gym can hear the treadmills early in the morning One night it sounded like a herd of buffalos running around above us, similar to a wave in a sold out football stadium. They were moving the lounge chairs for some deck party. And then moving them back when the party was over. We had a SS and it was under the buffet. Every night it sounded like the dancers were practicing above us. It was the carts rolling across the grout lines of the tiles above us Pay more and get the worse cabin locations. And the 2 or 3 loaded drinks will only be available between 5 and 7. It won’t affect me as I said I always have the premium pack as a perk but many others don’t. It is just another way of telling the loyal cruisers that we don’t appreciate your loyalty any more and all of the money that you spent on your past cruises. it is like everything else. What you have done in the past doesn’t count. It is what you do today. We can get first time passengers that think they will be getting what cruising use to be, or spending their inheritance. I am with you. I do not Grand Stand when leaving a TIP. When we became Elite many years ago they started the 4 perk promo so our 1st cruise as Elite included the promo that gave us the 4 perks and every cruise since have always included at least the classic package as a perk that we always upgraded to the premium. When the HH was in the Reflection, or Sky Lounge ( don’t know what they call it ) we would attend for people watching and the tidbits that they would serve. We would order a premium drink using our drink pack when there. We didn’t like any of the drinks available for HH. It was funny watching people downing as many drinks as possible in that time frame. One time there was a male in front of us. He had 3 beers before the server ever got to us. For what ever reason the servers would always start at the same place taking orders and not where they left off. One finally made it to us. I ordered a premium beer. That male in front of us wanted to order a beer and she said that these other passengers haven’t been attended to. She came back and he reached up and grab my beer off of the tray. She said sir that is a premium beer and you will have to pay for it. He told her to F Off and drank it. Security came and I am sure that he was the one that got F offed the ship. Another couple on one cruise would always be at the head of the line and run to the bar and sit in the same seats. I am sure they had at least 5 drinks before the people away from the bar had one or two I wonder how long it will be before the Elite HH will consist of 2 or 3 drinks loaded on you card like RCCL and not unlimited as it is now.
