Aqua Amenities

We will be sailing on the Eclipse in Aqua class. Is bottled water provided in the stateroom daily? We are Elite and didn’t think we would need beverage package.

Was not on the Constellation.

Free bottled water is no longer provided (daily) as of November 2016. You do get 2 free bottles (of the Celebrity brand water) on your embarkation day. That is just one of the many cutbacks we have seen since the change at the top (CEO).

We sailed the Infinity three weeks ago, also first time Celebrity and aqua class for us. We received two bottles of water at embarkation only, however we had the beverage package so we could get water anytime and did. Blu was very nice, mostly we enjoyed the smaller venue and personalized service, food was good we weren't "wowed". Loved the special shower as well, but if we sail Celebrity again we want Solstice class ship and wouldn't pay for aqua most likely.

Currently on the Equinox in Aqua Class. Bottled water first day only.

I thought I have read on these boards that water was reinstated...I hope it will be true for our December cruise..

It was reinstated for a brief window. It has since gone back to being only bottles on embarkation day.

It was reinstated on the President's cruise, there was a thread about it. Shortlived however.

The daily two bottles of water for Aqua class was done away with late in 2015. Depending on the ship, you may or may not get daily bottled water. I think it depends on the Hotel Director.

We where on Solstice some days ago, received 2 bottles of free water every da in Aqua

So still no consistency regarding the water in Aqua. On our first day on our recent Reflection cruise, the cabin steward explained to us that we would only get the two bottles. Since we had a drink package, it did not really matter, although we had to go by a bar after dinner to pick up water for the night.

We just got the water once on Equinox last week but our friends got it every day in their cabin, but she asked her attendant for it, we didn’t, as we had a drink package and just picked up our own waters from various places. Heck, we could barely get any ice, let alone bottled water.

Also, make sure you use the free bottle of water, they usually leave a bottle of Evian which they will charge you for.

Smart move. That would lessen the number of comments regarding cutbacks levelled at LLP.

Why am I still expecting consistency from Celebrity? must be wishful thinking.;) Emailed Captain's Club yesterday regarding daily water, hoping to get a respond by first day of the cruise - December 10.
