Lost Camera - Any Arubans Here?

Recommended Posts

Aquahound - you touched briefly on the scuba thread on the BP oil spill keeping you very busy right now - what role are you playing? (if you can say)

I hope you understand I can't give specifics, but I can assure you federal criminal investigators are engaged from Louisiana down to Key West. It is extremely complex. We want some arses on this one!

Aquahound, I hope you dont mind...

After reading the Godfather of Allure suggestions on this thread, I took it upon myself to send an e-mail to Royal Caribbean, given Aquahound's advertisement of RC cruises in his signature. I'm sure the Godfather thing is a stretch, but it would be nice if his seemingly favorite cruise line recognized him in some way. He has an upcoming Oasis cruise in his signature. I'm thinking Crown Loft?? :D;)

What an awesome story!! Thanks for making my day!! It is great to hear that there are still some honest people in this world. C.S.I miami, new york and vegas have nothing on you!! :)

I have gotten into the habit of taking a picture of a paper with our address written on it as the first picture taken on our memory cards!! If i do lose my camera i would hope that the finder would at least take the time to send the memory card back.

Great work Paul! Now... Twenty-five years ago I went to the Jersey Shore. I went into the ocean with my car keys in my pocket. Any chance you can start working on that one for me?

Navigator out of Rome is now less than three months away!

I hope you got rid of that thing, at least through the cash for clunkers fiasco!

No, no. I think you misunderstood. Paul lives in the Keys, not searches for keys. ;)

I know this is off subject, but my mom once lost her glasses in the ocean in Wildwood, they showed up about a week later about 2 blocks down the beach from where she had lost them.

I decided that i would start looking for another cruise today, for the coming winter season, and of course my first stop was cruise critic to do some research. I happened to come across this great story. Awesome work Paul, karma works in wonderful ways. On our last cruise with Carnival Glory, on the last night i found a movie camera stuck in the back of a chair in the lounge area of the casino, i turned it into the desk, I often wonder if it was returned to its rightful owners.

We had a cottage in the Muskokas where DH tried his hand at a small recovery business. We got two calls!!! One for a pair of sunglasses that fell into the lake (he found them!!!) and one for a diamond ring that fell into rocks near the shore (no luck). He made a whopping $100 bucks that year on the business, but wrote off his dive equipment (new dry suit) on his taxes!!! :D

Hi, Sam! Well, when I said I love a challenge, you sure stepped up with that one!

Enjoy that NOS cruise. I'm jealous. :)

a big thanks to aquahound who put a smile on our family's face tonight. To know that the pictures that you recovered for the family will be part of an exhibit is awesome. Hoping they include this wonderful story.:D
