silly question can you use a Starbucks card on-board? or do charges go on your sail pass?

Sorry, Cocod08. . . .Only Oasis and Allure of the Seas will allow use of a Starbucks Gift Card. . .

I think it is because they are an actual Kiosk (with all of the Starbucks menu items)

Radio,

Your crisp, clear photographs evoke such cruising excitement they are almost palpable. I feel as if I could stroll right into that promenade deck and smell the ocean air.

Thanks for posting and looking forward to enjoying the voyage.

Jonathan

Wow, Thanks Jonathan. . .Thanks for the very nice comments. I plan on posting many more from Grandeur and Bermuda.

Hello everyone . . .Sorry I will not be able to post pics this evening. It appears that my server is taking a few hours off.

The good news is that tomorrow morning I should be able to post as we approach Bermuda.

This has happened before and it usually lasts an hour or two.

More pics tomorrow . . . We are only 200nm from Kings Wharf !

Hi Radio and Mrs. Radio!

What a gorgeous day, the photos are amazing! I LOVE the Grandeur (we sailed on her inaugural), and want to be aboard right now. I always enjoy your LIVE reports and am looking forward to seeing more of the ship, as well as Bermuda through your eyes again. Thank you for letting us tune in!

Hello everyone . . . Welcome to DAY 3 of “LIVE” from Grandeur of the Seas. We are current sailing at about 18kt and are 55nm from Bermuda . . .I had a few problems uploading pics last night, but all seems well this morning.

I was surprised to receive an invitation to the Captain’s Table last evening. I have been invited before, but I thought I would go this time since it has been a few years. Captain Trond Holm was quite the conversationalist, and entertained us with his stories and work experiences.

He suggested that after this Cruise he will be on Holiday for 10 weeks. (He will go back home to Spain) He really respects his crew, and he enjoys interacting with passengers. It was suggested that we would take the south channel into Kings Wharf today, and the passengers would be able to view the coastline with ease.

There was some discussion about the weather for Sunday and Monday as the Google and Weather channel reported showers throughout today and tomorrow. Captain Holm said there will be sunny skies for the next 2 days. “My forecasts are much more reliable that you may find on the internet” I like this Captain. . . He has passion, and confidence.

We were treated to a Menu selected by the Captain which included several choices from the premium dining venues on board. The Captain also graciously provide a photo of the event, a Savor RCI Cookbook, and a rose for all of the ladies. I’m not sure how I was invited, but it was a very nice event.

I was up much later than I usually am (11:30 PM) Oh, the humanity ! I awoke early today, and am ready for some Bermuda. We will be greeted this afternoon by NCL Dawn at 3PM (Dawn will arrive today at 11AM). Grandeur of the Seas should be tied up by 3 and cleared by 3:30.

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. . . My next post should be from beautiful Bermuda !

Thanks for tuning in.

Thank you for the incredible pictures. It's so easy to imagine that I'm standing at this railing.

I always hears stories about rough crossing to Bermuda ... looks like seas have been calm for you.

Really enjoying your posts and pictures. We just booked the Grandeur for Nov. One quick question for you. You have posted two pics of the Diamond Lounge, is one of the Diamond Plus and one the Diamond? They somehow look like two different color schemes. Loved the new Diamond Lounge on the Enchantment, but the upgraded Grandeur looks even better. Thanks for taking time out to let us enjoy your cruise also.

Great photos and reviews!! We sail to NE/Canada on the Grandeur Oct 3rd....and just booked her to go to Bermuda Oct 2014!!

So while you' re onboard if you happen to snap a picture or two of....the "room service" menu (we'll miss our dinner seating in Portland) and what the seating is like near Starbucks (sailing with friends and we usually try to find a meeting place we can gather to)...

Thanks again for sharing!!
