Spin to Win Prizes?

With the talk about the change to e-coupons, it got me wondering... What is the biggest prize anyone has won with those freebie "Spin to win" coupons? Best I have done is a T-shirt. Most of the times it seems you win a keychain. IIRC one time I actually didn't win anything at all!

We must be the unlucky ones! Even with 3 of us spinning since DD turned 18, we've won one keychain just once lol. Is there a prize above the shirt? I honestly haven't paid attention even though we take a chance every cruise because after all, it's "free" :D

All slot machines tell you what combinations wins what prize, but I don't know if the freebie spin to win machine is different. I'll try and take a picture next time, unless someone beats me to it. Maybe the casino cashier could tell me if they've ever had a bigger winner than a shirt.

I know those prizes are what you could "thoeretically" win, but it would be interesting to hear if there is actually any better odds of hitting a "jackpot" on this machine than any other slot machine.

Lots of keychains. One or two t-shirs and one polo that shrunk after the first wash.

Each ship I go on, I always ask the casino host if they have seen anyone win a money prize. I haven't found a ship yet that someone has won cash. Suprise, Suprise.................

  • 1 year later...

I finally won for the first time in Voyager and is something more than a key chain or a polo shirt.

After my spin, slip of thermal paper came out with a few cents, I took it to the cashier and asked what is the paper for. She exchanged it for a red raffle ticket and asked me to come back at 10:30PM for a single draw raffle.

I did came back at 10:30PM and luckily my number was drawn in that single raffle. What I did a win?

A polo shirt and a drink of my choice in the casino bar.

So naturally I choose something that is not included in the Diamond Lounge happy hours... an alcoholic frozen mango drink...

Anyone won something else beside this and those endless keychains?

I always bring mine home (sometime I'll bring my big bag of tokens and hopefully have better luck playing non-stop for a while).

My husband can't resist. This last cruise he got two certificates. One was for a keychain, he told the cashier he didn't really want it could he just get a raffle ticket. The cashier obliged. The other was for a t-shirt. He looked at the t-shirt gave it back to the cashier and said he really didn't want that either could he just get some more raffle tickets, so the cashier gave him three more raffle tickets.

Last night of the cruise we go to the casino for the big raffle and it is for a key chain and t-shirt. The cashier must have thought he was really stupid giving up the prizes for the tickets. He didn't win the raffle by the way.

Has anyone ever won money or seen someone win money from the spin to win?

Last month my 'free spin' win was a slip of paper for fifteen cents! It stated 'No Cash Value' and I had no idea what to do with it. Next time at the cashier I asked about it, and was given a raffle ticket for a drawing that night. I didn't win- but did take home a t-shirt for my points. :)

Neither DW or I won, however we got a key chain because someone tossed their winning .06 Euro ticket (this is the key chain, .16 Euro is the T-shirt) next to the machine. Through out the cruise we could have had stacks of key chains and t-shirts because just about every time I walked by that machine there was at least one ticket laying next to it.

We get souvenir glasses the same way, pick up the dirty ones people leave behind and take them to the bar for a clean one to keep.
