Crown & Anchor Coupon Booklets

Recommended Posts

I've never had an issue using coupons from one cruise to purchase drinks, merchandise, etc. on another cruise. Now with the digital coupons, does anyone know if the staff on the ships are accepting the paper coupons?

No paper coupons accepted once a ship goes to digital coupons.

I believe that once they go digital no paper coupons. They were not eligible to be used for another cruise anyways only for the one you were on.

On the Independence a couple of weeks ago, we received a sheet of paper informing us that our seapass card was loaded with the coupons. It also listed the coupons with the clause that we had to inform crew members ahead of time that we were using the coupons. We didn't use any of the coupons so I'm not sure how accurate the last part is. The only one I would have used for a member - 30 min free internet was no longer an option.

I have to think that that was a typo. They certainly have not removed the perk of free internet minutes.

I used mine on the Liberty just three weeks ago.

Very true, we used ours 2 weeks ago on Brilliance.

The note said that your free minutes were available from day two. All I did was register and create my wifi account, and when I logged in on day two, my credit was $25.50 which accounts for the 30 free minutes at the new rate of $0.85 per minute.

Also had a midweek offer (lasted until the end of the cruise) where the standard rate was only $0.42 per minute after 11pm and before (I think it was 7am) the next day.

Pete, where was the notification of this "special offer"? I would hate to miss that. ;)

I'm glad then -- I can use them on the next cruise. Thanks

Does anyone have a current list of the Emerald Paperless coupons? I have heard some coupons have gone away with the new paperless coupons.

The only coupon I know for sure that has gone away is the casino match play.

To be honest I never saw it in the compass, but happened to be passing guest services and it was displayed on a TV screen on the wall next to the desk. I wouldn't have known had I not seen it on display.

May have miss what I'm about to ask so sorry.

Where do you find your digital coupon list of things available.

Thanks

There should be a printed list in your cabin. Otherwise any bar server or I assume shop or guest services can print out the list available on your Seapass card. The server at Vintages did it for us and said they must do it if asked by a guest.

Not Pete... ;) but they did have what they called "Happy Hour" prices for Internet listed in the Cruise Compass while I was on Jewel in February. I don't remember what times they were offered, but I'm wanting to say it was for a couple of hours in the morning and then again in the afternoon while in port. They had them listed for several days during the cruise.

I was all excited about it and went to use it expecting to get the special rate, but it still charged me 85 cent per minute. I assumed that it had something to do with the fact that I was using coupon time, but I could be wrong.

For me, even though I was still using my credit from my 'coupon', when I logged in between the hours mentioned on Brilliance the system told me it was 42c per minute, even on the morning of departure it was still 42c per minute. Edited by peteukmcr

Not hearsay - Unfortunately the match plays are gone! :(

I wish that the casino would provide match play coupons for C & A guests that requested them in person at the cage. I understand the decision to do away with the coupon books for cost savings, but the outright deletion of the match play coupons makes me sad.

I agree. I am not a huge gambler, but I did always use those coupons.

Did they also get rid of the spin to win machines on those ships? I always made sure to play those as well.
