Harmony Keel Blocks are in the House... well they're outside actually!

Recommended Posts

Thread name changed to Harmony Keel Blocks are in the House... well they're outside actually!

I asked the administrators for Harmony of the Seas Keel Blocks are in the House... well they're outside actually!, but I guess it's too long a threads name.

Heck...its the longest ship so it seems to have earned the longest thread title. :D

But thank you for continuing to keep us informed, entertained, and looking forward to this fast-pace extravaganza of a ship project. :)

Sections of Harmony's two AquaTheater diving platforms being constructed and to be delivered from the same company on March 26.

(That would be diving boards like this one ...

The Cruise Deck Plans site has what seems to be some deck plans for the Harmony of the Seas.

(Thanks to Karen McWherter Fraser in the New Oasis Class Ships Facebook group for spotting this)

Click on the deck plans under 1. Choose a deck below to view to check them out.

I have a Studio Inside on deck 4 booked for the TA. :D

On HM they are not part of a FS set up like on QN, they are just like other cabins...but smaller and I am soooo excited :D

Was it cheaper than solo in a normal inside. No dbl points, right

The 12 Studio Outsides, SO, are together with the 3 SI cabins on deck 4.

While only SI and SB are currently defined in C&A terms as the only categories not getting the solo bonus point, I would imagine that will be updated.

Terms and Conditions

All other rates including Travel Agent rates, as well category SI and SB, are excluded from single price type extra point promotion. Cruisetours are included as an additional night per each day on the cruise tour.

The SB's on Quantum have been changed to SD's from June and have not been added either.

I was just curious if anyone knows who is manufacturing the prefabricated cabins for Harmony?

I was not sure how the Meyer deal with STX Finland last year affected this supplier.

STX Finland Cabins was the largest supplier and then Meyer references EMS Pre Cab for their projects. I had understood that these were both separate companies from the actual shipyard.

I just noticed that both of these companies websites are down and wondered if they have formed a venture under another name.

I noticed that ALMACO that got the contract for the Navigator deck 12 and other new cabins has the contract for the provision stores and refrigeration on Harmony, but there is no mention of them getting the cabin contract.

They were also not mentioned as building the Freedom or Explorer cabins.

It seems that STX France has transferred their operations to a new/bigger factory to build its cabins:

Thanks Lloyd. I am unsure if STX France had their own cabin factory previously and knew that STX Finland was certainly the market leader.

It is unclear if they kept that division or were able to develop their own using the technology with the split.
