wagtail_syd Posted November 19, 2015 #1902 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Can anyone tell us if there are any hotels in Sydney that offer transportation for the Airport and to the Cruise Port I can't think of any, sorry. Which cruise line are you with? If you are on one that sails from the OPT at Circular Quay there are quite a few hotels within easy walking distance. Also, depending on your luggage and mobility it is quite easy to get the train from the airport to Circular Quay. Otherwise there are plenty of taxis from the airport ready to take you to the city. rugbypopsie Posted November 19, 2015 #1903 Share Posted November 19, 2015 No shuttles that know of but all the CBD hotels are a short taxi ride from the overseas passenger terminal if that's where you are leaving from. Any hotel in TheRocks area is within walking distance. Sue

icat2000 Posted November 23, 2015 Author #1915 Share Posted November 23, 2015 Cause they asked too much as the start. And there is a lot of choice out there. Same will happen with other lines too if they get greedy with start prices.

By The Bay Posted November 27, 2015 #1920 Share Posted November 27, 2015 I believe it is for Balcony rooms up only for the drinks package but soft drinks for other rooms The quote from a TA about the package is: "The Premium Beverage package includes any individual beverage item up to the value of or equal to AUD$12 per item. Items exceeding AUD$12 are not included and full charges will apply to these items. Beverages will be served one drink per order, per eligible guest. The package does not apply to room service, water in cabin, food and merchandise items, events or tastings, beverage and merchandise packaged items, New Zealand Natural ice cream products or cover charges. Persons aged 18 years and under will receive a Soft Drinks Package. " No mention of it being limited to Balcony.

Sometimes I think a particular deal will only apply if it is a Sunday and you have your fingers crossed behind your back. ;)

icat2000 Posted November 28, 2015 Author #1925 Share Posted November 28, 2015 Sorry to hear about missing your cabin. When the cabins are so low in number I don't rely on email. I'm on the phone straight away to ensure I have the booking. They might only have a couple of cabins at that price. There are cabins left on that cruise but twice the price now. Must nearly be full.
