Used Quebec as the state but prices are listed in US

$1412. per person

$108.03 taxes/port

$706 discount

1person total $1520.03

2nd person total $814.03

Total for 2 people with everything $2334.06

 

While I was putting this in, so were other people.....a lot of different numbers!!!! Lol, so much for helping you after a confusing week!!!! Sorry!

The last 2 posts 6 and 8 were the same. I wonder if the price increased from the start of this thread to the end due to the "sale" starting tomorrow.

If you really watch RCCL prices. They change multiple times a day. I watched a cruise one day checked prices about every 2 hours and prices would be different every time. For the same room. :confused:

Wow! Thanks everybody. I just got back from my outing and did not expect anyone to do this for me so I was really happy and surprised

 

The reason I asked was that I have been checking prices for 3 weeks every day and always getting different prices and thought that maybe it was me.

I was usually getting between 4,000. and 5,000. USA

Then I phoned April 3rd and spoke with an agent.

Got balcony D1 stateroom on 9th deck.

We are 55 plus, but I believe she said that would not matter

Then I got off phone and checked online again, still got the between 4 and 5 thousand.

And every day since then.

 

So I do not know how I can even check for price drops?????

 

How much business are they losing, even if people plan on phoning for their reservation, they usually go online first to get an idea of prices... I almost did not bother phoning because I thought that this cruise was going to be too steep for me.

For 2 people for a week? Holy c****, I think most of the pricing listed was very expensive. We have some house stuff we need to do. I don't think we are jumping on new future cruises right now. Very enlightening thread. :)

currently if you book aprill 11-15, they are waiving taxes and port fees... i have a cruise booked and would save $300 however it's new bookings only.. I really don't want to cancel my current, then rebook, it takes forever for them to refund your CC

What to do when you are awake in the middle of the night.... check that price again, and it sure changed again! These are in USD. Seems the tax free holiday is in effect. However, these prices are way, way, way too much for FOS in February.

PS: I just saw the tax free holiday is for US residents only. Interesting that it gave me the discount even though I put QUEBEC in the State/province selection...

I saw the price (just over $2000) that you posted earlier. That seams reasonable for a February cruise. I think something is terribly wrong if the website is showing over $5000 CDN for 2 in a balcony. No way I would book at those prices.

 

You can check http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk for availability. They will show up to 50 cabins per category as opposed to the 15 that the JS site shows.

I'm WOW'd. Not in a good way!!!!

 

This is worse than airline pricing!!!

 

Can anyone tell me please where on the RCI website you can find the terms and conditions of the "sale" that tells you if the deposit is refundable or not? I've done some mock bookings to check prices and I can't seem to find terms.

Are they all refundable? Do they ever have any that are non refundable?

 

I ask because Princess has been doing a lot of sales with better prices but non refundable deposits.
