We'd love your opinion: Best Celebrity nightclubs

Tell us: What's the best spot for trendy music and late-night dancing in Celebrity Cruises' fleet?

Probably the most popular place now is in the atrium by customer relations and the Passport bar.. The entertainment is there every night and it gets quite crowded on all the decks upward. This is apparently on all the ships. Not my favorite but it appears to be purposeful by Celebrity since they changed the type of entertainment in the lounges.

This happens to be the ONLY topic that imho I cannot rave about Celebrity on. We love everything about Celebrity except the clubs and music. NCL and RC do a much better job entertaining us. And I don't mean the shows, I don't really care so much about their quality or lack of. But we love to go have drinks in a bar or club and have great listening or dancing music.

In 9 Celebrity cruises have not seen much activity after 11.

As dkjretired said the atrium has people dancing, normally that is in the evening 6-9.

Quasar on the S class ships has the look of a trendy spot & has a DJ there some nights but have not been on a cruise where there more than 10-12 people in there. Sky Lounge has music & dancing in the evening til 12 or so.

We do longer cruises & primarily not Caribbean so it might be different on a short Caribbean sailing.

The M Class ships don't have "nightclubs." They have the Rendezvous Lounge which host Karaoke some nights. Then the lounge up on deck 11 forward which some times has the party band and then the DJ.

The S Class has Quasar which was always empty when we went by there.

Tried to go in there twice. First time the bartender was rude so we left and complained to the bar manager. The second time the DJ was rude. You think if a place had 2-3 people in it they'd be a little nicer.

Most of the other stuff takes place in the Atrium on the S Class ships.

We were recently on the Reflection (Caribbean) and had a great time in the Sky Lounge. Music was trendy, current and oldies. Stayed up past midnight many nights. One night was passed 2:00am. :D

On the Eclipse, we enjoyed music in the same area, but it was more subdued.

We really enjoy the Rendezvous Lounge on all ships! Jazz, Blues, classics, etc.

Try Royal Caribbean cruises. Not much on Celebrity. People have been talking about Quasar but it was closed on our last cruise and was a conference center.

You could try the Sky Lounge but not a lot of action there. But a good sized dance floor you can have for yourself and your intimate friends.

Qasar is the spot for late night dance type music. There is quite often nobody there. When we were on the Solstice we were a group of 10 so we had our own party and often others would join in. They also had theme (70's 80's) nights for a couple of hours which were quite popular. If you are looking for a lte night crowd/buzz you may not find it after about 12.

Were you on the Reflection? If so, here is the reason Quasar was closed. It's is now the conference room on the Reflection. The other 4 Solstice Class ships still have the Quasar lounge.

The Reflection turned the space that is a conference room on the 1st 4 ships into special higher priced suites. One can get to these suites only with a special sea pass. Also up here, 1/3 or so of the old Sky Lounge was taken to make the really extra special Reflection Suite. It has 2 bed rooms and 2 showers.

The balance of the old Sky Lounge now takes over as the "night club" in place of the old Quasar Lounge.

Quasar on 4 S Class that I have done has been pretty well empty on all nights, go inthere and you get terrific welcome from Bar Staff as they are bored and DJ is playing to no more than half a dozen. Skybar tends to close up at or before midnight. Martini Bar is where the action is late, spent nights there dancing until 3a.m.
