What sea life have you seen in the Caribbean from the ship?

I've gone on a number of cruises. I've seen flying fish, turtles, some stingrays, and dolphins at sea and while we were moored, but I've never seen whales in the Caribbean. Love to know what you've seen and if there are any hotspots for sighting sea life? Thanks.

One of my best experiences was sitting on our balcony and watching a school of dolphin surfing the waves beside the boat. I even got a great pictures of it. Besides that we usually see flying fish. In port was have seen stingrays.

Same species as a cougar, just a different gender.

Flying fish is the most common thing you'll see "at sea"...you may see dolphins closer to shore.... It's not common to see much while out to sea.

We saw a seal in port of St. Thomas in May which surprised me. We've also seen lots of dolphins, flying fish, and sea turtles. And of course, snorkeling, lots of reef fish and other sea lifeforms.

Thousands of Jelly Fish as far as I could see. It was a pretty cool sight.

As with most folks, plenty of flying fish, dolphins, turtles, and jellies. I've seen Barracuda while in port, some really big fish I could not identify one night while at sea (they were swimming where the ships lights shone on the water and were not dolphins), and on one trip, quite a few whales around Dominica.

Have seen the usual suspects (Flying fish, dolphins etc.) mentioned above, on one occasion we were leaving Key West and the ship sailed through a huge expanse of jelly fish. They just dotted the surface not more than a couple of feet between them, we were several miles off shore although land was still visible. Another time in open and extremely calm waters I saw the biggest hammerhead shark leisurely swimming about 10 ft. from the ship as we past by.
