Wow bands

I saw in one thread there are wow bands? What are they??Do all the ships have them?

They are a plastic band in the shape of a watch that you wear & can use instead of your cruise card. We had them on the Quantum. I think they are also on the Anthem & will be on the Harmony.

They are only on Quantum class ships now, and for the foreseeable future.

I have not heard about plans for the Harmony. Are you sure that you don't mean Ovation?

Sorry I forgot about Ovation, when I was on the Quantum I heard one of the officers say that they were looking at ways of using the technology on all future ships so I assumed Harmony might get it too.

I heard they were doing WOW Bands on Harmony...However, that was before they decided they were not doing Dynamic Dining. Not saying one has to do with the other, just the timeline of when things changed,

That is cool. But I would rather they just provide an ap for my iPhone or even better my iWatch so I don't need to wear something extra...

I'd rather stick to keeping my sea pass card in my pocket or I suppose a handbag for women (Purse in USA ?) The wow band reminds me of the things you see on peoples wrists that are staying in some cheap All Inclusive hotel :eek: I don't use a lanyard either.

Whether you like to wear them or not:

 

1. They can get wet

2. Kids will have less of a chance of misplacing them.

3. You don't need to leave them on you chair when you go swimming (security)

4. they don't have your printed identity on them.

 

Besides leaving tan lines, they do have many "good" benefits, and more places are using them, such as Disney.

Yep, Harmony will have them! They just can´t replace every door lock on the Oasis/Allure and that´s why those ships don´t get them (or any other older ship).
