Hi Robyn! Glad to have found your Live review.

I'm really excited for our cruise in March 2016 on the Indy and this will definitely help cause I'm a big time planner and love to see things before I go. :)

Have a great time! Looking forward to following your trip :)

Thanks for following along! So far my first impressions of the Indy are really positive. I'm a planner too...I totally get it!

Wow! It has been an action packed day for sure. I'm usually getting a second wind right about now, but I don't think it's gonna happen for me tonight. The welcome aboard show was great, and Ricky Matthews is the CD. He has a ton of energy and had the entire theatre on our feet!

Tomorrow is a day at sea......I will be back in the morning. Good night as the motion of the ocean rocks me to sleep.......

Hi everyone! Welcome aboard the beautiful Independence of the Seas. We have been sailing for 2 hours so far and my excitement level is still as high as it was the minute I saw the ship sail into port this morning!

I have late seating dinner and plan to see the Welcome Aboard show at 7:40, I think it's one show for all guests.

Someone was asking about discounted alcohol packages, and the short answer is there aren't any. Prices are what they have been, no change.

I will take some food porn photos in the MDR for those of you who are into that sort of thing lol [emoji6]

Currently sitting in the Champagne Bar enjoying a beverage as we sail towards Labadee........

Thank you. Is it possible for you to post the MDR menu and the Compasses?

When we sailed the Oasis in August the drink of the day in the specialty glass was gone.

They were selling the glass in the promenade if you wanted to buy a couple, was surprised to see it in your picture.

Enjoy

Sounds like your having fun.

Actually, the drink I posted was an Ocean Breeze which was the drink of the day in a souvenir glass. I told the server I didn't want the glass, but she said it was the same price either way.....

Banana creme brulee.

The other B may be Bailey's.

Over rated. One of those items that has been around forever

You got it! It wasn't mine, it was a table mates. It's pretty good, but I don't usually order it.

Good Morning everyone! There is nothing quite as fantastic as falling asleep to the gentle rocking of the ship, and waking up feeling refreshed and well rested. Did I mention how much I love cruising?!??

I'm still getting used to this cabin. It's not like I can jump out of bed and rip open the curtains....[emoji15] not having a balcony doesn't bother me, it's just weird that I need to keep the curtains (at least the sheer one) closed most of the time for privacy.

Today is a day at sea, and according to the compass it's supposed to be 80 with sun and clouds. I will probably make my way to the pool at some point to enjoy the sunshine (hopefully there is some!)

I am off to grab my first coffee and once I have it, I'll hop back on here and see if I missed any questions and give you some more info on the ship. Thanks for following! [emoji4]

They had the Drink of the Day in a souvenir glass on Indy in August. Have 6 of the glasses sitting on my dining room table now. LOL

DH says we can't bring anymore home!

I like the real glass RCI souvenir glasses but not the plastic ones. I have my glasses around the models of each RCI ship that I've been on.

These are glass. Agree, not a fan of the plastic ones. I'm adding "collector" to your list.

Thanks so much for your live report. My family and I will be on Indy in Feb so my sister can get married in Cozumel. I haven't been on RCCL since 2003 so I am excited to be back. I have been trying to find the salon manager's email address. I have googled, sent messages to RCCL with no luck. If you are in the salon and happen to see the manager or information that would have his/her email address, I would be very grateful for the information. Please don't go out of your way. It is your vacation so you should enjoy it and any extra's you throw in for cruise critic is a bonus. I can tell you are already enjoying. Have fun and thanks for all the live reports. It helps so much in the planning process.

Of course I will go out of my way! I'll try and get up there later today. Congrats on your sister's wedding! [emoji1]

When you have a chance can you send pics of the Compass? We are on with you on Saturday and wanted to do some advance planning with the family for best choices.

Have fun!

I could, but our next cruise is a different itinerary?!? What exactly are you looking for? The evening entertainment times? If yes, I'm happy to snap a pic of that page. Let me know.

Hi all!

ckrobyn ~ I'm enjoying your review, a first for me as I haven't cruised RCL for 4 years but am doing Serenade in April. I became a bit of a drink glass collector on my Freedom cruise, came back with 7!:o

Have a great time in the warmth, Toronto's high will be 48 today.

~ Jo ~ :)

Hi, ckrobyn.

We are also on the November 21st sailing! I find myself logging on a few times a day to catch your updates! :) Who is the headliner for the cruise? I was hoping for a good magician! Any good movies playing? My boyfriend's son was especially interested in the movie selection. Looks like you are having a wonderful time!

Hey there! I'm not sure who the headliner is yet. I'll let you know if I see a magician in the compass. The movies on the tv are old. Seems Sex and the City has been playing on every RC ship

I've been on over the last few years! There are some kids movies, I'll see if I can find the titles.
