Interested to see how the cruise goes. As a NoVA resident I've wondered what a cruise from Baltimore would be like in January. Not a fan of cold weather for the first few days so we fly to Florida for our cruises. Happy sailing.

Hello Tommy3putts. . . I have cruised from Baltimore many times in January.

The voyage down the bay should be smooth (just a little cold), but the question always comes the next morning.

It is really just a coin toss. . .Half of the time it is very smooth down to Florida. . . The other half will include rough seas,

swells, and a lot of rolling. . . .All due to the Gulf Stream. The worst is usually the first and last day at sea.

I will just hope for the best. If all else fails. . . I will be spending a lot of time at Casino Royale.

The seas will be reported daily from your intrepid reporter ;)

Day 1 begins tomorrow !

Just found the thread...thank goodness I saw your post on FB ;) Signing on and can't wait to see what this cruise has in store for you! I'm four weeks out from my next cruise - you are giving me exactly what I need to maintain my sanity. As always, wishing you a wonderful cruise, smooth waters and sun on your face. And of course a radio-friendly casino!

Thank you in advance for all your time and energy!
