Searched but could not find out if the bottled water package is spring or purified water? Sailing out of Port Everglades if that matters. Thank you!

Sign in, onboard purchases, beverage packages. 12 pk of water. It just doesn't say spring or purified. We are on Emerald in FL on 2/5. It would beat hauling it on board.

$6.90 for 12 500ml bottles. Around .58 per bottle. Not Costco price but beats hauling it. We rather have purified vs spring.

Is the ships water not clean enough to drink?

The ship's water is as pure or purer than bottled water. It is distilled from the sea water which makes it perfectly pure, then since the body can not drink distilled water a small amount of minerals are added back to make it consumable.

This is what I like about Cruise Critic. One always finds great information from fellow cruisers. We didn't know about the bottled water package until this post. Just ordered two packages for our cruise next month. DH will be happy to know he won't have to haul a case of water on board. :D

Why spend the money? Take a couple of water bottles and use the ships water. As previous posters have said, it is purer than what is coming our of your bottled water and tastes just as good if not better. Spend the money on excursions or the like. Better use of your money.

We just brought it for our next two Regal cruises. DH never drinks bottled water, but our our last Regal cruise (1/10/16) he did not like the taste of the water at times. So he is happy that I brought the package.

I signed into my booking and went to onboard reservations then beverage package. Allll the way on the bottom I found the water package. Hope this helps

They might not have bothered to show it for your cruise yet since its at the end of the year they might be slowly adding them to the cruise bookings but i would give them a call and see what they say

I purchased two packages of 12 for our 10 day cruise next month. Figured that we tend to drink 1-2 bottles a day and like having a couple of bottles per port day. We have been on cruises where they announce no taking any beverages off with the exception of closed bottled water!! Guess they are worried about introducing something different to their environment!

 

As we are flying in it makes sense to do this versus stopping somewhere in a city we are not familiar with to buy some water which we then have to haul on!
