Azamarajunkie Posted March 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Just wanted to shout out to everyone on here that we have just had the BEST CRUISE EVER on our recent Journey cruise from LA to Miami via the Panama Canal. Everything was excellent, the new decor and furniture is fantastic, the staff and crew were always attentive and friendly and I loved talking to Dale in Mosaic, especially when I gave him Twinings English Breakfast teabags when he didn't have any! I could write for hours, but in summary, well done Azamara, look forward to our next visit in June/July Steve

Phylhering Posted March 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 18, 2016 I was on this cruise too. It was terrific overall. I basically did not get off the ship but I did sit in the Living Room for 9 hours while we went through the Canal. As I commented, the passage was like watching paint dry or grass grow. But I would not have traded the experience. Booked B2B Rome in September. Can't wait only 189 days to see the ship again. Staff as always was wonderful. A lot remembered me from November crossing which is really nice. Pool bar and Casino bar staff is the BEST. Also loved Jul in the dining room, always sat us at the best tables every night. Dr H Posted March 29, 2016 #19 Share Posted March 29, 2016 I took the liberty of posting your "Best Cruise Ever" title in my latest entry for our April 5th cruise on Journey. Good to hear that things remain the usual, standard Azamara excellent, as always. I'm not counting the minutes yet, but I'm darn close. Welcome home! Phil Thanks Phil, yes we had great weather for the whole cruise, just a bit of rough sea between the Panama Canal and Cartagena but it was overnight and only kept us awake for awhile.:)

Dr H Posted March 29, 2016 #23 Share Posted March 29, 2016 Not electric chair Steve, I hope. I think you and your wife, another couple, and us shared a beer in Ubin, as I was having one of my numerous heat strokes. But I don't remember the Azamarajunkie moniker. And yes, Sandie is bringing the sewing machine on board again. David
