2016-2017 incentive/group cruises on NCL

Recommended Posts

Ask and you shall receive...I tried to upload an Excel file. For some reason it wouldn't let me so I transferred it to Google docs. Here's the link...

I've made the link available for anyone who has the link to be able to update the spreadsheet. I have a tab for each ship and then a tab for the one "unknown" that we have currently.

You rock! Thanks!!

Thank you so much for putting this file together.

Happy to put it together but I tried to make changes and it wouldn't allow me and then it wouldn't save the ones that I was able to make. Hopefully someone will come along that has a more technical background to help out.

Not sure if this counts but..

On the Escape April 23 - April 30.

This'll be on my cruise :(

Looks like there is quite a schedule for this group: http://www.southerndrawband.com/cruise/schedule/

On the second sea day they are "taking over the pool" for two hours!

This list is great. I was thinking of asking for opinions of those that traveled when a large group was sailing. IMHO if a large group gathers in one place wouldn't that alleviate congestion in another area? Why not just change your plans and visit that venue at another time.

When I click on the link there is only one listed...am I missing something?

It would depend on what type of group was sailing. Some groups can be uncivilized and make for a horrible cruise.

Ship unknown:

March 11-18 2017, Lifesource group, departure Miami, could be Escape,

Norwegian Escape:

November 12 - 19, 2016, MyDeafBlindCruise group, 215 pax signed up per Feb '16,

September 9 - 16, 2017, MyDeafCruise group,http://www.mydeafcruise.com/norwegianescape/

Norwegian Jewel:

June 18 - 25, 2016, Rocky & Marlene Finley's Freestyle Alaska Deaf / ASL Group Cruise, 15 pax signed up,

Norwegian Pearl:

May 29 - June 5, 2016, Mormon Deaf Group Cruise,

I'm on the 11/12 cruise.

Question.

Would those 200 passengers get priority boarding for their handicap?

I don't care so much about restaurants, but I really, really, REaaLLY want a Vibe pass......

Well, on a 4 day Epic Med cruise we had a vitamin weight loss scheme company who, IIRC, had SpiceH2O roped of for the one and only sea day and also late into the evening for their private party. On Epic that's an instant stop on enjoying a warm sunset on a quiet outdoor deck, with hot tubs and bar service.

Tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet for the other ships. :)

Another one to add to the list:

Norwegian Escape:

September 23-30, 2017, National Sweepstakes Convention, group of 750 attendees not including possible other family members coming along with them but not attending the meetings.

Know this cause my wife & I are 2 of the 750 in this group.

I would be absolutely LIVID. Considering thats what the majority of people are doing on a sea day, that is absolutely ridiculous that NCL lets them do this. I really wish NCL would state these partial charters when people book.

Not sure if this counts but..

"Thom and Coley Soakin’ Wet ~ 4:30pm – 6pm

After hanging out with this dynamic duo at their meet and greet in the morning, come listen to what they are all about at the Pool! We’ll be taking over the pool, both decks and both hot tubs for our first pool party! There are two bars located on each level.

Location – Center Pool"

First? Are they planning more? Complete BS.

I'd reschedule.

In fact, I need to find out if the group on the 11/12 cruise is getting priority boarding because if they are, I'm switching to another week cause I want a Vibe pass and will have zero chance if 215 of them get to board along with Haven etc.

Fix this stupid Vibe system NCL and stop allowing groups who haven't chartered the ship to displace other paying customers, especially since you all decided to put one stinking little pool onboard for 4000+ people.

Be paid To Travel International Tour Guides Academy has advertised this on their website.

Also would like to mention that they book huge blocks of Ocean Views and Balconies in BB category thus rendering the cruise almost "Sold Out". They do this almost every year for the repositioning cruises! They book the blocks and do not release them till after final payment leaving the average cruisers to pick from either the insides or the suites unless they book very far out in advance.

I currently not near an MS Excel-loaded computer and not able to list this directly. I would appreciate if someone could add the following to the list (found on allaboardtravel web site):

"Cruising for a Cause" 1/14/2017 NCL Escape
